great product.. I glued these on my skywalker 1900 wingtips and also used them for tail skid, stopped the wear on the foam instantly

Not a question but a solution. If youare finding that your comet is stalling and rolling check out the weight in the front of the nose. I found that mine was glued on on one side and not centred which caused the wing to drop and stall when landing (need to keep up the speed) I re-glued the weight central and now do not have a problem. Its a great plane, I love it, now if only i could land it without crashing..........

forget the screws. I have four on my skyfun all glued. I have placed one at the front of the fuselage and one at the rear with one on each wing. Save on the wear and tear of landing. Also very easy to replace if they fall off, just glue it back on again!

what size of screw is needed? thanks!

I think they take a 2mm screw, they can also be glued on.
 DantePL 20 points
you dont need screws just glue
 ERIK 16 points
if use in foam wing you can glue it with epoxi. if use in wooden wing you use 2x14mm screw

ive been cutting the pins off the other side and hot gluing them on. They work really well. there arent any holes to fit screws and that method wouldnt work as well as gluing anyway

You but them under the wings so when you land if your wing falls it doesn't s****e on the ground great for when you belly land with no landing gear as well just put under the bottom of the fuselage where the wheels would usually go.

clue it under the wing tip

Clue it on the wing tip to prevent wing damages like in bad ladings. It can be also used as tail wheel if You like

you put this at then end of your wingtips. You place it under your wing to prevent scraches from the ground.

Imagine you just bought a $100 glassfiber glider. You don't wanna scrach your wing at take of/landing, do you?

Very cheap, very easy. Just glue it to your wing.

Epoxy glue onto underside of wingtips, they protect wingtips from damage if they touch the ground during landing.

Good protection for your aileron servo and control linkages on aircraft without landing gear. Glue them into the edge of the wing, and it helps protect them.

Fantastic stuff. This is something that you should have, will save your wing from serious damage.
A small price to pay, than having scratches on you wing.
Can be used on the tail section as well.
