Continuing the Blue Bird tradition of affordable performance. By using carbon+30% POM gears and optimizing the curvature of the gears, the gears are able to withstand over 3.5kg of force. With a tolerance of less than 0.3 degree per PWM step, this servo is perfect for CCPM helicopter control, precision aerobatic aircraft, and 1/18 scale cars. The motor is wound with 2PEW thin coated wire for better electrical conductivity and is able to withstand over high temperature without degradation. The servo comes with an accessory package and the universal JR/Hitec "S" Connector which is physically and electrically compatible with all major receiver brands sold worldwide. Follow the wiring diagram below. 1. Carbon+30% POM gear with smooth curvature 2. M9.6 ball bearing (si-oil) 3. High-torque motor with low RF noise (CE certified) 4. Rubber seals for waterproof case 5. Designed to be used in R/C helicopter applications. 6. Futaba compatible 25 tooth output splines 7. Metal gears of aluminum 6061 material combined with light and strong C95 material 8. 2PEW coated motor wire for high-temperature us

I know this question is old, but I'll answer anyway. Yes, it can be used for cyclic on any 450 heli. Not sure if it's fast enough for tail following a gyro. I'm using 3 of them for my 450 cyclic, and am impressed at how much smoother (less grainy movement) than other servos I've tried. Definately an umproved version from what was reviewed below.
I really like this servo from a size and weight point of view, plus it is also very smooth. Like aerofreak I to would be interested to know if the centering problems are fixed. That is the servo's biggest problem. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks HK
There is a new revision available where the centering problems are gone and new plastic (instead of rubber) servo mounting plates are included. When is this new revision available *HK?

I bougth two servos in other internet store for the low price, and the first never worked, never , and the second work two ninuts after it to have placed in side the airplane .it is incredible but it's true. Compre dos de estos servos en otro store en Hong Kong por su precio mas bajo y el primero nunca trabajo,y el segundo solamente haciendole pruebas de funcionamiento dentro de la casa , se descompuso y dejo de funcionar.Increible ,pero cierto.

These servos have very poor centering and are noisy. I am trying to find out how to return the six I bought as the centering (or lack thereof) makes them worse than useless.

Used these in glider applications. Sturdy and reliable, but centering was not very precise on 2 out of 4 that I tried.

I've tried these. Poor centering and really sloppy. 5mm slop measured on the rear edge of my aileron.

These servos are crap! Removed all of them from my PA Katana. Noisy, jittery and lousy centering.
