This servo comes with a servo accessory package. This servo is designed to be used in R/C glider applications. Increase material of gear with carbon nylon gears and focus on the curve of gear. otherwise the ourput spline is same with Futaba 25 tooth.
This servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connector also known as a "Universal Connector". Even thought this servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connectors, this servo is electrically compatible with Futaba receivers.
1. Metal gear 2. curve gear with smooth. 3. M9.6 ball bearing (si-oil) 4. Extra Strong torque with low signal affect and success get CE certification. 5. Rubber fitting case for waterproof 6. Designed to be used in R/C glider applications. 7. Same with Futaba 25 tooth spline

Hello , Dear Colleagues ! How about gear slop on these ? I have bought Corona and HK MG servos from here .Corona is little better , but still significant slop .Same time i must say , my expensive servos have been all nylon and carbonite geared . I understand MG means some slop on any factories servo .
Thank You for answering! I just mean, if i configuring horns for minimal play and having, lets say, one degree play on servo horn and the wing is with 30 percent flaps on 200 mm chord, the play on trailing edge can be significant .
I've received the servo and it seems that it's rotating just about 90 degrees. Is it possible to make it rotate 180 degrees? If so is there some guide how to do it for this servo?
no, this is not a 360 degree rotation servo out of the box. however, most servos can be easily modified for continuous rotation by cutting the shaft off the potentiometer and removing the little nub that stops them from rotating past 180 degrees. i assume you are using this for robotics, so i would recommend looking on ebay for "continuous rotation servo".
Would anyone recommend this servo for use in a 46 size glow engine plane? What exactly does "designed to be used in R/C glider applications" mean? Cant they be used elsewhere and what is so special about glider applications?
I use these in a 40 size 3D profile Gee Bee. It has a 40 norvel. I push the plane very hard and the servos have plenty of power! I would use them in a 46 size sport plane.
Is this a re-badged BlueBird BMS-380MAX servo? I have one and it works great. Would like to buy some more but they have disappeard from the BlueBird servo section. Is this the same one? Thanks.
I was checking the replacement gears and also noticed there is no 380MAX Blubird servo??? I was wondering whether the gear set fits the Turnigy 380MAX. If it does, that would seem to answer your question??
Pienso que estos servomotores son gran. Tienen momento de torsin alto y velocidad buena. Son muy precisos y baratos. Yo sumamente los recomiendo.
I think these servos are great. They have high torque and good speed. They're very precise and cheap. I highly recommend them.
I've nervous to screw it up so I havn't oppened it but if the description is accurate(which we all know how accurate and truthful hk is) it does have ball bearings.
One of the servo burnt as soon as power is applied. Sent back to HK* never got a replacement unit back. This is truly last time Id eve r buy anything from HK, for Im tired their BS claims not receiving parts sent back for defective replacement. I just cant believe people rate this servo so highly. When was a last time HK is paying taxes for doing business in the US?
It is a great servo, you just had bad luck or did something wrong, maybe too high of voltage. I wouldn't send anything this cheap back, it'd cost more to send it back than to buy a new one.
I need to find some longer servo arms for these servos. I am having problems because my normal Futaba arms are not working. Does anyone know where to get arms or what this is compatible with?
OK, you can get the plastic Futaba horns on, they are just a really tight fit. The Futaba aluminum horns fit great. I bought a dozen Futaba horns from my LHS for $20. Some of these are silver so the look great on the DMS 380MAX servos.
I would like to know if a 3A BEC supports the comsuption 4 of this servos working simultaneously. There is any way to calculate the consumption of each servo?
All servo connectors are electrically compatible, as they all have center positive. That way you can only mix up negative and signal, and no harm done. This connector is compatible with JR, Hitec, Futaba etc (like all other connectors, it is fully possible to use a futaba connector on JR, and the other way around)

Sent it back to HK for a replacement, but HK denies receival of returned defective item, just as they've done in the past. I think they discard all defective parts sent back by customers. It happened two out of two incident. What a pathetic liers, sell your soul for pennies. Why don't HK just do business in China, where such shabby business practices seems perfectly acceptable.

no estoy contento con ellos, pues no guardan el punto neutro con lo cual cada vez se quedan en un sitio distinto

They work and they are light. They seem powerful and centre ok. NOTE: metal AND nylon gears. ALSO NOTE: NOT WATERPROOF, NO RUBBER FITTING WATERPROOF CASE. If they had been as described, 5* but have to deduct stars for inaccurate description, afterall that's what you rely on when purchasing.

Nice servo. Bought 3 (BMS brand) and one of them self destructed with no user input. Took more than 4 month for HK to replace the defective one, but I haven't had problem since then. Weak casing, cracks for no reason, maybe due to heat from motor, but other than that, very precise control, good centering and strong enought to move my multiplex EGP aileron with precision.

I've used these for several years running in gliders on 4.8V packs with no problems. I've just found out friends of mine have had quite a few of them burn out when running in EPowered models (brushless and lipos) - Think the speed controllers supply the rx on 6V, maybe these servos not so good on the higher voltage supply...?
