is it possbile to charge this battery on 2C? it should actually be possible to charge at 2650/1000=2.65C.. or is this not right?

I must say, that I'm switching myself into Turnigy packs. This 30C 2650 Flightmax is less powerful than Turnigy 20C !!!

No,it is not commended, I strongly recommended that you charge with 1C.

i have honestly never had to wait this long for a battery. Hobbyking please be honest with your dates as two months is way to long.

they fit easily, u just need to shift ur esc ard. they are not that big compared to the aligns

Ok here is the update, the lipo does fit under the canopy but CG will be way off. Lipo tray has to be lowered at the top approx 10mm, the bottom of the tray leave alone, and the lipo has to be inserted sideways to fit inbetween the frames...I flew for 8 minutes and cells were at 3.77v each...Highly recommend.

I didn't modify my batt tray, comparing to 3300 mAh 6S Zippy, the balancing is quite nice. Highly recommended - that's true.

I dont care what anyone says with the trex 500 the tray has to be lowered with this lipo in order for the canopy to fit on properly without further modifications and for a perfect CG.

I agree with xstar, to fit and balance the 3300 pack on a trex, I absolutely had to lower my battery tray 12mm, and then the battery fit sideways between the frames... It would fit before the mod, but It wouldn't balance... (I am using a futaba 9254 servo on the tail though...

Why too big?! I'm using Zippy 6S 3300 mAh 20C in my T-Rex 500 without any canopy or battery tray modification. It fits tight, that's true, but once you find a precise position, you can forget about the problem. Check the dimensions. This pack is a little bit smaller that 3300 mAh 6S - should be just fine!

These lipos are still to big for the trex 500, I really didnt want to mod my heli to move the canopy...

these should fit as they are a similar size to an outrage 3000 (35x44x140) which fit fine.

these are absolute value for money. performance is better than align 2600 of the same age. comparable to outrage xp. These can be clearly seen from our eagletree charts(V/A/W) as logged with similar flying styles.

Note: not for those who cant solder and complain the batts dont work)

Very happy with the 2650 30C batteries I ordered. I lowered the battery tray on my Trex 500, (Takes 10 minutes) and now the fit and ballance is perfect. I changed the connector to a deans style and charged them up using an I-charger 106B. The batteries charged with no problems. My first flights were 6 minutes with a straight 90pcnt throttle curve. I still had 40pcnt capacity remaining. Loads of power!!!

Trex 500, 5 minutes flight times and volts per cell are 3.8 ish, great lipo.

10plus cycles now on my trex 500. no signs of fading or puffing. after cycles 4 & 5, i started doing hard 3d and was impressed with the punch even though these packs are a bit heavy. this really is a good thing, because the trex500 is a tail heavy bird. so the extra weight balances this out for a perfect CG. could hardly tell anyhow with power you get. only time will tell how good these pack really are. but for the price, why not?

These batteries are great for the Trex 500. they are the exact same size and weight as the outrage 6s 3000mah packs. The performance in 3d flight is the same so far. 5 cycles on each pack (I bought 2) they are cooler after each flight then the outrage packs. Charged and balanced with no problems. I am getting 3.5 minutes with 3 grand on the head. I fly mild - hard 3d (as hard as I can). I recommend these packs to anyone.
