After 4 years of abuse Ive seized my 61. I ran it with a 12x4 prop she was over reving un-till she seized the piston. Had a new liner piston on the bench...Will go back to the 14x5..She was running a 10x9 in the speed plane runs wit a tuned pipe..
I power mine with a .56 with plenty of power. It balanced fine without the need to add extra weight.
Mine came at 4.8 lbs, about 2.2 kg. So I guess this one should do the trick.

Does anyone know what prop adapter fits this engine? I have read the manual and it states the crankshaft size is 5/16" 8 mm, but what is thee thread. I also am trying to find a spinner.

I am using a 12x6 on a .46 size cap 232. Is a little small but sounds great being a master airscrew. Anything up from there would be great eg. 13x6. haope that helps =)
i have also but it will flood if the fuel tank is higher than the carb ,its always better to have the fueltank lower or in line with the carb to prevent the flooding . i nather solution is to have the engine mounted on its side or up right so the head dosenit flood.

Sir I am not sure if you know what a Muffler. If you look at listing, apart from the engine it is the next large item in the picture. Just a general rule is if they show it, it comes with it. If it shows it and it does not come with item they say so in listing. Hobby King is good in that way. But good question I hope this helps.
voa tranquilo! mas na minha opiniao voce deveria usar um motor 4t, é muuito mais seguro em caso de falha! nao estou falando mal do motor, ate porque tenho um, mas sabe como he, falhas podem acontecer!
As per above, no, it is indeed an aircraft motor. Also, heli motors like the OS50 Hyper I use are more powerful, and have everything in place to run pointing upwards in the heli's airframe (IE, the carb adjustments are on the side of the carb/motor)
The dimension is still an engine in my hand, so I can not be measured, but what's the model that's for sure will be ok, this engine has a lot of power, the engine of this capacity ever to have used for models up to 5 kg, and you have only 2 , 8 kg
Mounting screws parallel to the cranck (both on left side, p.e.) are 1 inch apart, and between screws on right side and screws on left side, there are 2 inches. The carter is about 1 1/2 inches wide, in order to open room on a wooden engine mount.
I think you should have at least 2HP, if you believe it what the manufacturer says it is very likely

I INSTALED THIS ENGINE IN MY SUPER CHIPMUNK 63, WITH A 12X6 MASTERCRAFT PROPEL, 10pcntNITRO AND IT WORKS WONDERFUL. I SUGEST IN THE 3 FIRST STARTS: 1.- START THE ENGINE IN HALF THROTLE POSITION 2.- RUN 3 FULL TANKS BEFORE TRY TO CARBURATE. 3.- THE INICIAL CARB IS 2 RAUNDS FROM THE CLOSED POSITION. HOBBYCITY HAS THE BEST PRICE IN THIS ENGINE.
The motor is pretty much a knock-off of an O.S. 61 FX, nice job... It is quite a bit heavier than the O.S. by about 4.5 oz. I figure the extra weight comes from the bigger screws and less finishing. It started right away, seems to have a bit of vibration, but runs like a charm. I did the break-in like the O.S., because the instructions did not give a procedure. Nice job, I will buy anther 2-Stroke ASP.
Powerful motor. It pulls my 3.5 Kg plane around on a 12*6 prop with ease. I had it installed inverted and it would not run well at low throttle settings. Turned the motor upright and now it runs extremely well. This was a good buy. Use 10pcnt Nitro. 11*6 gets 14000 RPM 12*6 gets 12500 RPM
