more stock shouldnt be too far away, yes I have made my own cable, if you google ( Make your own USB cable for HK-T6A calibration ) there is a web site showing how to do it, you can buy cables off ebay although at a much inflated price,

Reece it is called a 4-pin mini-DIN connectors. It is the same as the plug on S-Video. It is not the same as a Ps2 Computer Keyboard. I hope this helps.
Its not the same as an S-video cable either (although it looks the same and has the same pins and will fit) the outer shield is the earth on this cable on an S-video the outer shield is not used at all, so if your thinking of making your own its not that easy but0 can be done
Rexy03 never say can not be done. The main issue is built into the USB end of thr cable, is a converter from USB to Serial. To buy the parts to make this cable is far over the cost of the cable and postage.

Hi Marcus, I use this cable to program my CT6B. Because the T6 is a fully programmable Tx I think you want the cable to connect to your pc for a simulator.

Tyler NO no software as of yet. It will run on any mac or PC. Can you just look at you next Side walk clean up. Any old P4 or P3 will work. Something with Xp installed and you will be underway. Last year I found a old laptop on the footpath. I put in the car, to bring to the field when I use this controller. Mind you is it is getting less and less now I have a Turnigy9XV2.
Robert sweet then all you will need is this cable and a micro adapter to you phone. So a app that can talk wireless to this, would be great. So please post any great ideas in the members forum, as well. There is a section in the forum for DIY. I think it is under used.

Combo with which other products? if you by the transmitter with the cable, weight will pass 1 kg and you'll pay a lot more. If you need to buy both cable and Tx is better to buy them separated. You'll pay less for the shipping.
Hey waleed, simple answer is no they aren't sold as a package. The cable is sold separately but of course you could get both on the same order if you purchase from the international store.

I believe that HK's own quotation about customer service is a whole lie due to how HK doesn't seem to care that they are diceving their members quite seriously.

Haydz, I cant help you in regards to your issues with HobbyKing, I can only suggest you raise your concerns with the CUSTOMER SUPPORT CENTRE via the contact Tab, I know it is annoying trying to get warranty as I have been through it a couple times but this is the risk of buying mail order online regardless of the company involved, i wish you luck with your issues

Once you answer some questions, you to may get some credits. But do realize it is not a free for all. It is a place that takes the weight off customer service. 664 is the total credit I have accrued, that doesn't mean i have $6.64 to spend as I may have already spent $4 of it, you get 10 points if you are awarded credit by the original poster , you don't get anything for just commenting , only if credited , look thru other questions and you will see where credit has been given , only about 50% give credit. So my points stay at 664 until someone credits me again then I will be 674

Hi. I bought this cable for the HK6S transmiter (Producto ID: HK-6DF-M2). But it seems no to be compatible because the transmiter back conector is not the same that the cable. Any help ? Thanks
No this cable is for HK-T6A only, the HK6S transmitter is not computer programmable anyway, you can only change settings via the switches on the front.
Hi, Can anyone help me? I am running windows 7 and have installed the usb driver, yet when i open t6config and select the com port the program freezes up, only when I unplug the usb lead does the program respond again? so I am unable to set up the TX as yet.
Maybe most of the Tx will never get reprogrammed, but al least you will need to program it for the first time. Even servo direction can't be changed without the cable. And it's also normal to make adjustments in your models while you are building it, like servo endpoints. You can mechanically do it, of course, but is easier with the Tx.
In case you change your servos, you maight want to. This TX can also be used with a simulator, and in case it comes with a 450 Heli clone, you will have to change its settings to match the simulator channels setup. And if you want to use it with any other model, it will be necessary to pro gram it too.
This cable is to program the transmitter through a PC link. It is not intended for simulation software, although some people use a program called pptojoy with hacked versions of the most common simulators.
Do a search in HK looking for USB simulator cables. There are a couple of them that can be used in this Tx, and the computer sees it as a joystick, you don't need other softwares.
And this cable for what can i use it if is not for simulator...i have instaled the realflight 4.5 , the driver given here instaled ,but the game does not recognize it.So how can i do work my tx like simulator
Just cant get it to work. Have installed the Silabs PL210xdriver. Measured the Tx TTL RS232 output Set the correct COMM settings But the software wont communicate with the Tx
