Need help!! I would like to control the EDF speed using the gyros to balance pitch and roll. My project is a home made 3 motors heli like a triangle. Here are the info: Motor: EDF 90mm 1750kv (3x) ESC: Turnigy A65 (3x) Batteries: 6s lipo pack Rx: Futaba 6S skysport Please help to select the right gyros for the listed system. Should I need 3 or just 1? Thank you!

I think you need a multirotor flight controller board. I believe they even have gyros built into them because all the mixing involved.

Can anyone explain why there are 2 gyros here at HK looking exactly the same and both having "Applicable R/C systems: Futaba, JR, Hi-Tec, Sanwa/Airtronics Multiplex, GWS" in their descriptions - BUT - one is called "GWS PG-02 Piezo Gyro/JR", while another one "~/Futaba". They are also priced differently. The original manufacturer's manual makes no difference at all and just reads "Applicable R/C systems: Futaba, JR, Hi-Tec, Sanwa/Airtronics Multiplex, GWS". WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE then?

the 23dollar one is a single rate, this one is a dual rate. this means, that, depending on your transmitter, u can pre-program two different rates of sensibility. very usefull if u want too be able too switch between lazy flight and acro flight, while flying.

1. Can these gyros work on planes and 2. On ailerons do you need two if you have one sevo for each aileron ??

test it. we never did :-D hear story from someone who used it to switch edf jet between lazy and acro flight.. but if it is possible with this one is a trial and error situation.

5 thumbs up!
These gyros are better than TG380. Neutral point can be adjusted via the neutral switch. Two gain settings can be chosen via transimitter. But, I noticed one gyro has limited servo travel movements even after I set the gain to maximum
