The new number one in performance and price! The new Turnigy Lipoly packs deliver full capacity at the said C rate. You wont find a better deal in Lithium Polymer batteries anywhere!
The mah rating is just how much 'charge' the battery holds. The thing you have to check is the cell count, 2S-7.4v, 3s-11.1v, 4S-14,8v. However you also have to make sure the 2000mah wont be too much heavier the 850mah. you will get a much longer flight time with the 850 but the weight will be an issue and so may the cg.
What Lotus88 is saying is true, just at the end he means that you get longer flighttime with 2000mah than the 850mah battery. It is also true that weight and cg might be a problem.
one of the cells voltage was 0.7. i tried to charge it but charger kept warning low battery and stoped charging after 5 secs charge. I tried severel times until charger stoped warning, at the end cells voltage are 4.20 4.18 3.70
i have been running this battery in my traxxas rustler for 3 months and about 25 charges on it and nothing is wrong with it so if it is that good for a car the it should be for anything
The dead cell voltage is going up in every charge, so i am happy now.it can charge almost 4.00v and other cells almost 4.20. now i can use the battery properly.
This battery will fit in a Traxxas Slash tray if you cut a slot for the wires on the side, cut the braces for sub c packs out of the tray, and sand the inside of it.
Has anyone tried charging this battery higher than 1C? I charged the pack at 1.5C for 4 times in a row at the flying field with no issues. I'm wondering if anyone has tried 2C?
Im looking at the owners manual right now for the Bandit VXL, Rustler VXL, and Stampede VXL and all RCs take up to 11.1v 8000+mah 3s 20c LiPo. Not to mention I've already used one on my Bandit VXL
Hiya I am running a Turnigy 5000 in my rustler, it doesnt quite fit, but u slide it as far as it will go underneath the ESC... it will stick up some, u cant use the Traxxas battery retainer on it, but I just got 2 cable ties and held it in that way. (BTW... now I cant keep my Rustler on the ground or in a straight line! AWESOME!)

6 thumbs up!
Very good batery, I used it in my easystar FPV with a 1900Kv motor I can fly more than 30 minutes, and can climb 3m/seg... EXCELENT BATERY...
These batteries are great, I bought two of these and they were both severely underrated, they definitely held up against my 30c battery with the same voltage and amps, with one of these in my plane, I have calculated a possible half hour fly time, all for less than a 7.2v 100mah battery from my local hobby store!
