A servo is not related to frequency. So no matter if you use Mhz or Ghz, a servo is just en electronic device, controlled by your receiver.
Just pay attention to the voltage you will be using for your RX and if it's not to much for the servo you choose.
Hello, Does anybody know how much current does this servo draw (both on idle and on full load at 6V)?
I'm running this on Trex 500 on both the cyclic and and the tail. I'm running it on an external BEC (3A Turnigy UBEC). It seems to be over drawing the current and cut the power to the receiver... Any advice would be appreciated..
I run one in my Aeolus for the tail gyro and after running two tank i was refueling for the third and i smell burned electronic to find out the servo just burned ! Very disapointed!

after few flights in heli where I use this servo for cyclic it start to jiggle at the center. And all 3 servos do this. Very dissapointed. And cann't post this to reviews so I post it here
Maybe there is a problem with the transmitter signal so the PWN signal went out of phase, OR, perhaps you crashed the aircraft? this could have readjusted the servo orientation... Good luck mate, hope you fix it soon!
Water resistant is a term usualy used for something that will " resist water splash or rain ". Waterproof should mean that it can be fully imersed underwater. Whether you can actualy trust it to do that I don't know but it should handle a bit of rain and splashing.
I has this servo in 3 traxxas 1:10 cars and also 660DMG in Emaxx and had not a single problem with that in wet grass, mud. Also I do pretty hard snow bashing with E-maxx and also not a problem there. If you want to make it more resistant, spray WD40 on the servo to make it resist water. I would not submerge it into the water for the longer period of time. I think it can handle splash water and short submerge. Anyway it has silicone sealing for the case and screws.
Compatível por ser digital e trabalhar na especificação 1520µs/333Hz que está nas opções da programação do GA250. Veja o manual do "gyro" na pasta "FILES".
Comparable to Futaba standard servo size. It should fit. Very good servo, I have ordered now 2nd one, and throw my F****a in garbage, for double the price...
I bought one of these a few months back and am running it with the HK310 radio system. If I hold the my steering and full lock and accelerate - it cuts off and I lose connectivity between RX and TX...
Servo - BMS661DMG, radio system - HK310, ESC and motor - Novak XBR 8.5T
Batteries - LIPO 4000mah 25C, 5800 Turnigy 60C
Any assistance would be appreciated...
molz: High consumption of servo voltage drop causes, and the rx loses the link. You must use a voltage derivator or a capacitor of 2200UF. (click me !!!)
This servo is Amp hungry. What is happening is it is drawing more current than the internal BEC of your esc can supply. Two options are an external BEC, or as Molz said you can use a 16v 2200-3300uF capacitor plugged into an empty port in your Rx. Novak makes their own version of this called the 'glitch buster' but you can make it yourself for about 1/10th of what Novak sells theirs for.
Yes, you can use on TT01 both for drifting or touring, its very fast and strong enough for on-road car, I use it for my OTA R31 and TRF416, and its a very good price with a high end quality servo, the speed is awesome.
I used it first in my TT-01.
Fits nicely and makes drifting with my Tamiya a lot easier.
I changed it into another Chassis today (HPI Mini Trophy Truck)
Overall this servos Price is awesome!
Hello, can anybody help me and say, can i use it servo on T-rex 500 on the tail? or can anybody help me choose not expensive servo on t-rex 500 on the tail.
Sorry of my bad English? I don't know it very well.
Thanks.
Hi,
I have also used these servos trex 600 ... satisfied with the performance .. problems were encountered .. trex 500, also use it easily .. a very fast servo ...
No good enough for 3D flying. If for scale flying with analog gyro setting than can use it. By the way, the return position not so accurate because this is not a digital servo.
This is a great Servo for less. Good for tail servo. I am using this with HK401 Gyro. Works flawlessly... on my Rapter 50. It has metal gears and good torque. Quite speedy as well. Though there are more speedy servos, but this is good value for money. Hardly gets warm after approx 5 flights... The heat sink works great and dissipates most of the heat generated. This is surely a digital servo and good for tail servos when paired with HK401. Highly recommended.

I bought one of these to try just in case. Needn't have worried. These servos are made by the same folks as make Waypoint. Same case, same box, same horns etc as my Waypoint W-1621MG. Nicer quality though. reinforcing ring around the servo horn collar and generally impressive mechanics. MUCH smoother and faster and responsive than the Waypoint. It's digital alright judging by the performance. A most impressive standard size/weight servo.

Not compatible with the HK401b gyro from hobby king, when installed it jitters regardless at what setting its placed at. Other than that it seams to be a pretty strong reliable servo, my intention was for the HK500 GT tail matching up the the HK gyro but that idea was shot down quickly

CAUTION - After 5 minutes the servant burned installed! I connected the servo on the gyro with the digital option. I think this isn't digital servo or not compative with HK401B gyro !!! Regrettable.
