Is it good for Walkera CB100 tail BL motor?

Hi Guys, I am using a micro receiver with built-in ESC. The motor connection point on the receiver has only two holes. Would it be possible to use this motor on my receiver, or have I just bought the wrong motor? If it's possible, how do I know which two wires to connect to the receiver, and what do I do with the third wire that's coming out of this motor? Many Thanks!

Hi Fadi - wrong motor. Your receiver suits only brushed motors ( e.g.Micro Power system w/ Gearbox GPS-7. Depends one size /weight of your model)If you want to use this brushless Motor you need an TGY DP 3A 1S 1g Brushless Speed Controller and a spare channel to connect this esc.

Thank you one-flight, I know i could really use the ESC you mentioned in the future. It's pretty light! For now, I shall try to refine my model more. So far, I've just finished building a 18g AUW model, powered by a brushed 7mm direct drive motor, and I managed get it to cruise at 75% throttle. I'll try the GPS-7, it could give me more liberty. Cheers..

does anyone have the static test data for a 5x3 or 4x3 prop?

I have two questions to the motor:

1. How to fix the propeller to the shaft?
2. Is the BR3A speed controller right to operate the motor?

Thanks

I use AP-02 from HK for my cb100.. for fix the propeller or tail blade you can tied/binding blade using sewing thread...

Look for the AP03 4000KV or, better, the NTM 13-12 2400KV. You'll see how the back looks like. (credit please)

3 thumbs up!
A nice motor. I had bought the 2g hexTronic motor before, but never got that really run nicely. Might have been a problem with the ESC, but then again, read in the net about bearing problems of that one, too. This AP-02, OTOH, works smoothly with the HK mini-ESC. The 1.5mm shaft could be fitted with a prop adapter, but the 3020 prop can also be slightly reamed to snugly fit the shaft. Just need to build a model for the power train... :-)

1 thumbs up!
Excellent upgrade for 4G3 micro heli- tail motor. More power than original brushless motor, fits motor holder with only 1 small adjustment (cutting away 1 bar for motor axle).

I use this motor in a small depron-glider. 1g ESC, 2xToki servos, 5ch pene reciever, 1S 138mAh Lipo and GWS 3x2 porpeller. Flightwight 37.5g (wingspann84cm). Its a little bit noisy but it's ok. The power of the motor is super!

Use it as micro heli tail motor. Different kind of mountings (screws beside axis) would be good.
Good motor, not that cheap, but very good.
