Help please am new!! Therefore I could charge these batteries with 1c=2.2A! and what voltage rate should I chose on my charger, and how much time should it take? I have a (just another charger) from hk
Are you saying 220 mah? That will take a very long time and defeats the technology. The Technology is such that 2 c charging is not detrimental for the battery. If you want to stay safe and get a long useful life from your battery, charge at 1c and always store at 3.7 volts per cell. Storing fully charged is the worst thing you can do.
Lipo should be stored at 3.8V per cell, not at 3.7V.Even on a Turnigy accucell 6 you have a lipo storage mode which is showing at the end every cell stored at 3.8V despite that the 3.7V is the lipo nominal voltage. When stored, lipo batteries can be unused up to 6months with any significant power loss*but have in mind that lipo chemistry doesn't last for ever, from my personal expirience arround 3years and arround 200-250flights if used properly.
It should be fine, its technically good for 88amps continuos but personally prefer to run lipo's at around 80% of their rating but this still gives you a continuos rating of 70amps which is still more than you will be drawing.
Technically it's possible.
But the higher charge rate used, the shorter battery life (less cycles till death)
Also, charging at lower C's makes battery keep more capacity, battery charged at 5C will start to loose capacity faster and will put out less total capacity compared to battery charged at 1C.
I always change all my packs at 1C regardless C rating they have. Just get decent charging and balancing board to charge all packs (with same S only) at once.
Great for the 1/16 Traxxas Mini E-Revo!! Have had nothing but great results after 15 runs and it is still running strong. I charge at 2c with a Duratrax Competition ICE charger. These battery packs are just as good as any other pack out there but the thing is you save a ton of money! Only thing needed for fit is that you need to modify the battery tray just slightly for the charging wires to fit. With that being said I'd still rate it a 5 Stars!!
unbelieveable power for my funjet. with this little wonder my funjet goes vertical unlimited (himax2845-2700 with 5,5x4,3 cam speed prop), speed is about 160km/h and it doesnt get warm will try 6x4 next
