No battery has a BEC output. BEC means battery eliminator circuit. It means that you eliminate the receiver battery by the flight battery. Since the flight battery usually does not have 4-6V you use a circuit that transforms the higher flight pack voltage to the required receiver voltage. Nowadays we have some special HV servos that work with 2S Lipos directly without ectra circuit. There could be 2S Lipos with connectors that fit into the receiver. People might call this a "BEC output". Nevertheless, 3S is too much for all servos I know of.
As i know 3S1P means 3 cells in series and one in parallel... this give us 4(!) cells.. but these batteries have 3 cells as i can see (i have 4 of them)... What means 3S1P at this case?... Also my batts CANNOT handle even close to 50Amps for my QUAD!... Multicopter users: AVOID them!!!
3S1P just means you have 3cells in parallel once only,so with this battery you have 3cells of 2650mah each making this an 11.1v 2650mah pack.If you had a 3S2P then this would actually be 6 cells but the voltage would remain the same at 11.1v but the capacity would now double to 5300mah. Hope this helps.
...but what about amperage capability of these? Shouldn't be even close to the half? 40C for this capacity mean near 100Amps... I only needed 50!(at max!)
With a 40c rating this battery is good for 106amps,but personally I would only ever go to 80% of this so would be better to only draw a max of 85amps continously,so you will be perfectly ok drawing 50amps.
Yes if you have a (3s1p 25C 2600mah bat).
But you can never go wrong with more C.
If the bat has a high C its usaly a high quality bat. but aslong as you have a battery that has a better discharge then your motor you will be fine for power.
These specific are totally **** for my quad with NTM2826/1200 and 8X4... I found that Zippy 2200 45C can give flight time 7.30 minutes at stable hover.. I have FOUR of them and i doubt if they are damaged.. probably they are FAKE C!
Hi gsp12...How do youcalculate the flight time for a tricopter using the same battery ??? Pls help me in this regard...I have got a science project to make !!!
Hi, the only accurate calculation is the real test! :) FYI my quad with the above setup drains for hovering around 17Amps.. A tricopter with the same motors should drain about 12Amps, supposing that it is lighter also it should give around or more than 10 mins..
if i was to order 2 of these batterys, could i touch the reds together then the grounds together with out frying my 60a esc and my 40a mottor? would i just double the MAH?
A 3s 20 c battery has less punch then a 3s 30c rated battery. Which means with the higher c rating it will give more power for maximum acceleration and top speed. Hope that helps.
C means times of Capacity.. so a 2000mAh 20C battery can give constant 40Amp current without damaging itself.. The more the C value the more the Amperage it can give (independent of the number of cells... 3S,4S etc..)
Any of you tried to fit those into a t-rex 450? share your experiences please! I saw a guy saying he had to adjust the canopy mount to fit, but what about the CG? it gets really affected?
it will be a tight fit into the canopy, you need to put the battery as far back as possible and make sure the wires are tucked down below the battery rather than the side of the battery in order to allow the canopy to have room at the nose to accommodate the width.
As for the CG it will make the heli slightly nose heavy, but that is perfectly fine so as long as you are not trying to do any demanding flying( superfast pirios or anything that will require the heli to do more than flips)

useing a 4260 -500kv a 2450 3c gives 4 min heavy throtal will this bat extend or should i go with the 3000 30c not sure differance between ont he 2450-30 c full throtal 4min 2000 mh put back in in ballance probly ge five min with battery have ? about differance c rateing hope you can help..
To forgetful_duck My pack has slightly different label (Flightmax 2650) but seems to be same. 135x45x18 Need to ask You guys, how to charge accs for longer periods of time between flights. Made an unforgettable fault of keeping them fully charged ALL the time. //M
For lipos 50-60 is the storage charge, most of the new chargers will have a selection for for that, or just look at the when charging, stop at 50, then store, if over a year, you can put them in the fridge to keep longer.
Storage charge voltage for Lipo batteries is 3.8Volts per cell. Charge it to 7.6Volts if you have a 2s lipo for long time storage. Thumbs up if this helped:-)

Some times for different warehouses in different countries the price is different. Besides if they are from different batches they may differ in price as well.
I used two of these batteries in series on my T-rex 500 and the power was amazing. I picked up 200rpm head speed over flight power 25c batteries. Also there was alot less bogging of the motor. Deffanatly will be buying more
