Which kind of power supply should I buy to fit this charger ? I plan to use it to do parallel charging of 6 3S 2200mAh 20-30C with the parallel charging board from hobbyking, but I'm kind of lost...
This charger is 150W max, so regardless of what you charge, any power supply over 150W will do. I use a universal notebook power supply, 20amp, set at 15V. It's cheap and available from supermarkets with a PC section...

Eine Anleitung habe ich noch nicht gefunden. Wo hapert es denn bei der Bedienung? Vielleicht kann ich so etwas helfen?
Wenn dein 8s Akku zwei Balancerstecker hat, dann musst du umlö*ten, oder die einen Adapter bauen oder einen Adapter kaufen.
Es gibt auch so genannte "Balancer-Boards", mit denen das geht. Dieser hier zum Beispiel: Produkt ID: 258000013

so I tried various settings on mine, on both LiPo and NiMh and unlike when charging where it stops you at a total of UxI=150W, in discharge mode it will let you go up to 5A, regardless of the voltage.

I can not belive that! I have a 4s 5000mAh LiPobattery. If I would discharge it with the Accucel-8 at 5Amperes it would has to convert 72Watts into heat!!! I can't belive that! Is there anyboy else who can confirm this? Or can anybody take a video of a discharge with more than 70 watts?

you can Discharge with up to 5A if you use an battery (for example an PB battery) than it will refil the power in your PB battery.
But if dosn't exist an option to "recharge" an other battery, the discharge power is about 5W.

the balance of the cells is ok. I use this charger more than 1 year and sometimes after charging,I
measure the cells with a Lipomonitor. There was never a difference.

Hi I bought one of these chargers and am having some problems. I already had one of these for some years. this new one the display sometimes is getting all types of symbols which makes it unreadable and have tos with off/on again. Even when it is working the display sort of has a lag i.e when nos are changing from 01,02 03 etc and so on. Can anyone help please?
Cannot perform discharge of any type of battery.
The display shows zero Amps whatever the discharge current is set. Seems a system bug.
Could anybody try to test the discharge process on Lipo or LiFe batteries on their Accucel8 ?

I tried it today, I used a Turnigy 1000 mAH 25-30C 3 cell and 2Amp discharge. The display shows Li3S
2Amp discharge, discharge time, amps and the voltage.

I have a little problem. when I was charging my lipos in thw winter, the fan worked very well. I am actually loading another lipo, and the fan constantly goes on and of on and off. is this a sign of damage?
Wieso das, es komm tdrauf an mit wieviel A er lädt. Je höher der LAdestrom und Ladespannung um so heißer wird der Mosfet. Dieser will gekült werden. Zum Ladeende hin geht der Ladestrom gegn Null und somit muß er nicht mehr gekühlt werden. Der Lüfter geht dann aus. Ab und zu nochmal an zum Nachlüften.
your lipos are 2s types, the charger can only handle 3s or more cell types with charge balancing. If you dare to do: get a connector and connect your 2s (identical pairs!) to a 4s and charge 2 batteries at once as a 4s type
Plug it into the 3s balance port and make sure that the black wire on the balance connector is closest to the edge of the port on the charger. That's your ground wire ("negative terminal") and if it's moved over one pin then it won't recognize the battery.
What kind of power suply should i use with this?
It doesnt have a normal input! Only the 2 alligatorclips! How can i connect those to the normal wallsocket??
I always use power supply for Laptops. For this charger you need 11 - 18V and minimum 7 A. So if you want to be safe buy a 150W power supply. I found mine for about 15 Euro in ebay. It comes with many different plugs and an adjustable voltage. Good Luck!
Probably that's due to the CE certification. Personaly I would expect 20% difference (taxes, VAT, etc..) like on batteries, but that's 100% difference!
A 2s Lipo has three Balancer Connetors.
Black is minus, the other two ones are Plus of the Cells.
Just connet the black to the minus of the Balancer and it works.

I don't know if it will work, but i charged two 3s packs at one time by putting one balance connector in the 3s connector and the other one in the 4s or 5s connector. start at the same side of course! I tried it with balancer bord, so no guarantee if it will not work here!

Super Ladegert mit einem super Preis-Leistungsverhltnis. Leider wird das Teil ohne Bedienungsanleitung geliefert. Muss man sich aus dem Netz herunterladen.(nur englisch) Deshalb nur 4 Sterne. Wenn man sich durch die Anleitung durchgearbeitet hat, ist das Teil mit wenigen Clicks zu bedienen.Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert.
Super Ladegert ! Funktioniert einwandfrei,lsst keine Wnsche offen. Groes Display ist super ablesbar. Und duch den leisen Vetilator wird das Gehuse kaum warm ! Kann das Teil nur weiter empfehlen !!!

Super Lader! Endlich mal einer mit groem Display, Schrift, einfache Handhabung und top Preis.
Zudem ist das laden mit bis 7A an 6S mglich, somit bekommt mein seine Lipos mal schnell am Platz geladen z.B. 5000er um 45 min voll!
Very easy to use.item came with the instructions in German.English found on the net which you must have for the set up to avoid any damage to your lipo's
