It is the Corona Receiver 35mh that will stop working should there be a small voltage drop and so the servos will not work. Where cam I purchase a 5v voltage regulator|?
These servos are veryy erratic and sometimes do not zero at all but hesitate and seem they want to keep on moving even without giveg them a signal from the transmitter.
Sorry, it is not the servos but the Corona receiver 35mh synthesized which will not function if the voltage drops. Same question, where can I purchase a 5v voltage regulator?
These servos will not function if there is a small voltage drop. It is suggested in the instructions that a voltage regulatot be used. Where can this be purchased???
I bought 4 of these servos and now installed 3 of them, When powered up they make a buzzing noise, now gear noise, and also when they are in operation sometimes the buzzing does not stop before the control stick on the transmitter is moved lightly. Are they still safe to use, and can anything be done to stop the noise.
Yes it will work - but for general flying only. Do a thorough ground check first, as I had one fail while working out vibration issues - it had a poor solder job on one of the chips on the PCB - a consequence of mass production. You will need to lightly sand the servo openings in the frames and tail mount - it is a tight fit. For the price - it is an excellently made servo - in spite of the occasional failure. I have had expensive ones go bad too.
I use four servo is The failure of two of the servo motor has stopped working. I want to know the name of the motor in this servo. Is there anyway I can buy motors? Help
my best bet would be ebay, just measure the size of the motor and type it into ebay, is they don't have it, you can look at the bottom of the page and they will redirect you to a nother website that may have them
From the reports of these burning out I think the concensus is to run them as analog rather than digital,(ie on the gy401 dont turn on the DS dip Switch), & only use 5v BEC rather than 6v
No - the Quark is a digital gyro, and this servo is analog. Have a look through the park servos on HK - they have quite a range of digital servos to choose from. The Quark is a high-end gyro - you may want to consider getting a high-quality servo for it.
I really recommand this servo, it is cheap, strong, fast, small, light, center well, no jitter, with big tork. What do you want more? Just buy some of it, plug it and enjoy. dont forget to thanks HK.
IF you are running a Ubec or an ESC with a Ubec it will work fine. The Ubec needs to provide between 4.8 - 6V so most esc's with a built in BEC will do that fine.
Hope that helps.
Hopefully these will be similiar in size and performance to the Hitec HS-225 servo which I use in .15-.25 powered models.I wonder if the quality is as good based on the price?I'll have to follow the reviews on this one as they start to come in.
These are actually great servos. Smooth and quiet, great resolution and centering. Gears are interchangeable with the real deal Futabas. The digital versions are available from other vendors for not much more and the analogs cheaper. Pricing the 9257 higher is a flat out rip as the only difference is 2 of the smaller gears. These are suitable for 500 size helis on cyclic, the 9257 on tail.
not recommended for tail servo as they are analog, if you can accept this as a rudder servo, why not buy the HKS9257 (digital) much more a better choice, and just pay $6 more.

1 thumbs up!
Yes, this is exactly the same as Fitec 9650 analog servo. I think this is the same manufacturer. The speed is good and the centering is ok. But the problem is, they have huge looseness in the gears, or it come from the Servo horns. You need Servo horns from Futaba.

Ordered 7 recieved 7. Labelled as GOTECK GS9650 All work.
The Good: Well built, Fast, Almost silent in operation, Good torque, 4 output discs.
The Bad: Too much backlash in the gear train makes centering a bit of a lottery.
Conclusion: I won't be using them in helicopters or 3D aircraft but they'll be great for vintage models and lightly loaded gliders. If the manufacturer could improve the geartrain to remove the slop it would be a barg
i am surprised how goos this servo works, and it is very cheap
