Dassault Alpha Fighter 90mm Ducted Fan EPO Plug-n-Fly (Blue)
Highly scaled, large size aerobatic fighter jet with a big 90mm EDF system. The Alpha EDF jet comes 97% pre-built and includes a powerful 80A brushless 90mm EDF system and steerable nose wheel with Retractable landing gears. This well detailed and strikingly painted jet uses a 90mm ducted fan unit to provide fast throttle response and a high top speed. This model has many special features, such as operational landing gears, flaps for great slow-speed handling. There are 8 servos installed, All servos are of very high quality, providing smooth movement of all control surfaces. The ducted fan is dynamically balanced and the canopy is easily removed to change batteries between flights. This is an exciting looking big size EDF model that will impress everyone at your next club meeting!
The Alpha comes 95% completed and will take around 1hr to attach wings and fuselage, insert power system and connect electronics.
Maumy yes you can just use the correct harness. In fact I do prefer this. The 2 x 3 cell can have space between them (even though not much). But it helps with cooling. I hope this helps
Maumy, use a Y harness. I make my own. Assuming your batteries have FEMALE plugs, you need 1 more FEMALE plug and 2 x MALE plugs. Solder the negative of the FEMALE to the negative of one of the males. Solder the positive of that male to the negative of the other male. Solder the other male's positive to the positive of the female. Plug your batteries in and the voltage at the new female plug should be 22 - 25V (6S).
Hi all, any one face this please ? The time I connect the battery strong spark happend then everything works fine, next time I connect the battery nothing work and just esc singing ..this happend few time then all landing gear burned ..later I added external battery for reciver and the spark stopped when I connect the main battery and every things works fine .itseems the esc cannot supply enogh power to reciver and some how it cose short circuits that burned all landing gear servo !!
I have almost the exact same problem. I got it to about half throttle on runway and had same problem you describe. So a puff of smoke come out of back. Not sure if it is the motor or esc. Someone help please?
After inspecting ESC Ive found some mosfet cooked, engine too. Now I think 6s is too much for stock combo, 5s could be a better choice. Now I upgraded to 110A ESC, HYK-T50 1600kv inrnr and midi pro fan, I think it will make it well on 6s. Kit deserve a better power plant cause is well made and flight awesome.
Part 2 stripped and had to replace it after fixing the box. All landing gear struts are supposed to have suspension.The limit screws are too long and were binding the suspension on all three landing gear. Just back them out and the suspension works. Asked customer service for three new landing gear servos and hope they send them. The checked off QA card in the box means nothing. Check everything very carefully. This is still a great deal

Modelo ideal para poder hacer un IA-63 Pampa, habria que sacar el ala original y fabricarle una como la del Pampa.
Lo unico que lo veo caro para el tamaño que tiene, y con 2500gr de peso y casi 1 mt de envergadura, calculo que la carga alar debe superar los 100gr/dm2.

Se ensambla muy facil, viene casi todo listo e instalado. Recomiendo revisar todos los tornillos de los trenes retractiles y adicionar fija tornillos. Para facilitar la programacion de los recorridos de los servos retractiles e instalado el de nariz en un canal aparte. Tiene mucha potencia creo que despegara sin problema en pista de grama. Con bateria Zippy 4000mA 6S 20C balancea perfecto, si se le pone una de mas peso tendran que adicionar peso en la cola. Excelente modelo para tan poco precio, muy contento.
