This is a true FPV plane thats easy to build and comes packed with common sense FPV must-haves such as rear mounted servos for the elevator and rudder to help counter balance the additional radio gear, rear servos can also be moved up and down the tails Carbon Fiber shaft to adjust CG. The narrow fuselage helps glide rates for longer flight times and yet it still has a large area for and aft of the CG to move the battery for better balancing when using heavy camera/Tx gear. Rear mounted 10inch pusher-prop diameter motor-mount keeps motor and esc away from the camera to reduce noise. EPP foam makes the plane very resistant to crashes and rough landings.
The EPP-FPV glider has a twin CF-Spar 1.8m wingspan for higher, longer flight times with a wide range of camera equipment. The HobbyKing EPP-FPV has 4 channels (Ail, Rud, Elev, Thr) for agile performance and is reinforced with 2 CF spars on the main wing, a CF tail boom and CF elevator spar plus the ailerons have flat CF rods for stifness during fast turns or dives. The mian wing can be removed easily for transport.
The HobbyKing EPP-FPV can take any number of batteries however we recomend a 2600~4500mAh 3S pack for long flight times and good CG balance.

I don't recommend this plane for FPV! Why?
It has been created with a great capacity of charge much more than necessary for normal FPV use.
As a result this airplane is dragging a lot due to its shape and wing profile.
To have a long flight you will need heavy and costly equipment equipment: Lipo, brushless, controller... for a poor result.
Better to chose, a lighter airplane, with better profile which will need less power for same flying time and much less costly!!
i think to ask 21 or raptor witch witch still allow you to install camera and vid TX...
You will save on shipping cost, expensive lipo etc.... for the same result.
Thanks KellyAnn, flies ok though. but only really use the throttle to get it up in the air, then hardly any at all. But will double check the mount etc. :D

I spent well over $3000 in 41 orders this year so far.
Today it's four months since I ordered & paid and no reply from
customer service. Put the stock you got in Aus and send them express to DE.
I orderd it from China and now I have to pay more and have to wait much longer.

Yes, they are much cheaper. We are talking about $8,50 versus more than $40 for shipping from HK - not to mention taxes/customs which are 19 % 4 % (from germany).
=> We need way more stuff in EURO warehouse - HK!
Well in fact i just bought the one from int. warehouse before the weekend when this came in...With taxes and stuff the plane from int. warehouse is about 20$ more than in euro warehouse. So you'll save 20 bucks compared to int. warehouse. But int. Warehouse has faster restock time...so it depends on the stock. Now that the stock is on backorder it will at least take 10 weeks to refill it. So if you want your plane to be built in spring you should order at int. warehouse for ~20$ more
*Matjaz if you don't glue the two parts of the wing i recommend you to use magnet on both side to join them. I will use this on my glider and it is strong enough. ***********supermagnete.fr/S-15-05-N these are 4.5 kg force.
You can solit it into two pieces to transport it more easyly.

I put my first flight on it yesterday and well......... It did not go as I had hoped it would. I think the problem lies in the motor that is suggested is not quite large enough to push this huge thing around, I also think it needs a 4cell not a 3. the CG that is suggested in the book is also not right. Luckly I have been doing this a long time and know whats up so it was not a problem, the motor mount wood has to be broken off to properly mount the motor mount. Thats enough of the bad, now for the good. This airplane has a great choice of materials, The EPP is tough as nails, and glues well with a wide range of glues. the hardware is adaquate, and I really did not even have to consult the manual to put this together. Over all I think this thing is great, and I think all my problems can be fixed. Great job HK

Ich habe mir diesen Flieger noch aus China bestellen müssen.
Der Zusammenbau war recht einfach und verständlich beschrieben.
Leider ging der Flieger beim Start immer wieder in den Boden, da er sehr viel Schwung braucht. Als er dann doch mal in der Luft war, war er mit Vollgas nicht mehr zu steuern, zappelte hin und her, konnte nicht auf Höhe gehen. Durch dieses Problem habe ich den Flieger auch einmal nicht aus der Kurve bekommen können und ging zu Boden.
Bei seinem letzten Flug konnte man durch die Erfahrung, die man gesammelt hatte, ihn doch recht gut fliegen. Man muss sagen, dass das Gleiten mit dem Flieger ein Traum ist. Doch bei neuem Schwung fingen kurz die Tragflächen an zu zappeln und eine Sekunde später klappten die Flügel zusammen und der Flieger ging zu Boden wie ein Stein. Die 20cm Stangen in den Flügeln (10cm/Flügel) brachen aus den Halterungen. Diese Stangen könnten länger sein um das Gewicht besser zu verteilen.
Ich werde diesen Flieger nochmal kaufen und ihn mit besseren Stangen ausrüsten.
