On my preditors I see two screens instead of one is this because I use reading glasses ?
 Tank1 313 points
I've just answered your question on the FS Predator goggles, but as i said there just buy these as this is what they were made for and will work a treat, better than trying to put your own glasses into goggles IMHO. :-)

Thanks again
 StevenC 568 points
I don't think it is because of the lens. It is more likely that you have a dominant eye, and your brain sees 2 pictures instead of merging them together. I suffer similar problem too.
 summyboy 15 points
So do you goggles? How do you get over it
 StevenC 568 points
I haven't done any real flight with FPV yet because I am still trying to tune the GPS-hold and Alt-hold. But every now and then I just wear the googles so my eyes get used to them. It works
 summyboy 15 points
I fly 2 kms at the most with a 7 in monitor and its a dream but my goggles are on there way
 StevenC 568 points
Cool! I'm thinking of getting a 7'' LCD display too, I want to connect with the googles. I'm actually worried of not being able to wear my glasses while I'm flying in case of loss of signal lol

Negative anyway? for elderly people? ? For myopia? ? Distance is close, and which cannot be seen. This is needed? Vice versa?

Thanks for answer, baught 3 pair of Reading glas and made 3 different lenses and they work perfekt ! So thanks for a grate tips.

I bought the Fatshark V2 and was a bit disappointed with the view, I found it extremely blurred, after some research I discovered that because I wear reading glasses for close up, this was the problem, to resolve this, I purchased some cheap 2.5 reading glasses from the market and cut the lenses my self to fit in the slots where the dioptic lenses go, this solved the problem and now the view is fine. Come on Fatshark, make some lenses available for users that wear reading glasses otherwise they are no use!!
 HD-man 6 points
Hi, verry good idea, do you have the meassure of them ? Do you use 2,5 otherwise too? Or do you have to made some test before you landed on 2,5 ? Gone do the samething, i use 2,5 daily :-) my mail adress soren.p*etanet.se
 Walaud 8 points
Hi, I used 2.5 for the inserts because that's what I wear for reading, if you are going to make your own then use whatever suits you for your reading.
Andylek  14 points - 3/22/2013

Where can i get lenses with values other than having some made at the opticians?

Walaud...what did you use to cut the lenses?
 Walaud 8 points
The cheap reading glasses from the market are plastic, I used a junior hacksaw and then rounded off the edges with a small file.

Thanks! I'll have to give it a go! :)

These are Not for reading glass users! I use 1.5 for reading and 2.5 for soldering...these made the view in my predators totally blurred! :(
 Andylek 14 points
I meant to write "plus values"!

are these for nearsighted or farsighted people?
 Mark 26 points
Nearsighted (people who can't see far objects clearly, and about .5 off one of the correction values could use this. If you can see both close and far, these are unnecessary). I'm not entirely sure that there's no need for diopters for farsighted people, though (cannot confirm)
__EB52  14 points - 2/25/2013

These made vision worse for me, without my glasses the vision is slightly blurred, even more so with these lenses fitted. Does any one make these lenses 2 4 6 as opposed to the - value that these are.

WHAT MEENS For Eyeglass wearers(IS FOR THE myopia)? OR TO BRING CLOSER THE IMAGE?
 Lightwave 195 points
Corrective lenses for those who need reading glasses. So you can take your glasses off and still see the picture.

 Rian 1 points
NO! It's not for people who need reading glasses! It's for people who need glasses to see things in the distance clearly. These are for nearsightedness, which is myopia. Reading glasses are a plus measurement ( like 2.5) and very rarely go above 3.
 PeteDee 198 points
Except when they do, like mine at 3.5

Can someone share the specs of these (height/width)? My optometrist can built those, but he needs the size for it.
Kalps  103 points - 12/7/2011

can they be used with Fat Shark Dominator 3rd Generation modular FPV System???
 Alexander 628 points
Yes they should fit, but I recommend to ask a optometrist to built special glasses for your dioptre value (each eye). I did it and it works realy good. In Germany it cost about $35.
 Art Ross 1 points
An optometrist can make them in the shape necessary to fit the goggles?

Hi Yes, the Dominators have the same groove as the old ones (just remove the rubber eye pieces).

Can these lenses by used with HeadPlay googles? Shall these lenses be glued to the googles?
Thanks in advance.

 Heppy Ket 401 points
mmm I think so. you may have to be crative with fitting them.
 Shura 122 points
Excellent product for excellent price. I am happy to use them
 John 6 points
No they just slide in front of the FS lenses - do not glue them!
SuperAussie  17 points - 6/12/2011

Do these lenses also fit the Flytech Head Tracking Silver Goggles as well that you buy of the HK site?

 ycellette 32 points

 Shura 122 points
Yes, I use them
 ugo 21 points
These lenses are adjusted Myopic -2 -4 -6 you have to use lenses for astigmatism correction conttatto with astigmatism.
 SDowell 13 points
Nobody asked the most pertinent question which is with these fitted, do you see the full field of view, or do you lose out on some of the video edges as of course it would be hard to press your glasses close enough, never mind they sit a good distance forward of your eyes, whereas with contacts you can practically push your eye up against the field lenses. Even with contacts you don't get full illumination as some of the video edge gets clipped out.
