An excellent parkflyer sized EDF foamie made from well moulded and crash resistant (EPO) foam. The L-39 EDF jet comes plug and fly ready right out of the box and will take you around 45 minutes to set up. Included is a 20A ESC and small yet powerful 50mm brushless ducted fan system, plus all servos are pre installed so all you only need to add is your own battery & receiver to complete this model.

I've put the plane together but when connecting the battery the motor (yes, it seems it comming from motor and not from ESC) plays a sound and then keeps beeping regulary in a short period, like pi pi pi pi pi.... If I disconnect the receiver the motor changes to pi .... pi .... pi ....
The Jpower/Sky Angel/Venom L-39 has a wingspan of 550mm and Fuse length of 700mm and the Hobby King promotional video shows these dimensions on the box. The Specs listed by Hobby King show otherwise. Can an owner of this model confirm the 550 and 700mm measurements?

( After some flying with "Noselandings" the fuselage will become shorter !!!)
I would propose you to put the CG a little bit more backward (nose heavy). My maiden flight was with the CG at the servo wire hole and the L39 was much to agile. Now it is a fingertip backward. I am using the Turnigy 1000mAh in maximum front and the bird is still very agile but not extreme. As a positive result it is neutral to throttle changes (no climbing up on full throttle or dropping without acceleration)

2TAGE LIEFERZEIT - SPITZE Montagesatz kam unbeschdigt mit allem Zubehr, sogar ei V-Kabel fr die beiden Flchenservos liegt bei. Gewichte: Rumpf mit Haube ( Magnetverschlu ) ohne Antrieb und Regler 76 Gr. Flche mit Servos 55 Gr. Seitenruder 7 Gr. Hhenleitwerk 12 Gr. Impeller mit Motor 48 Gr. Regler 24 Gr. mit Kabel und konefkt. Anschlsse - Achtung Akkuanschlu 2mm 1x weibl, 1x mnnl.! Ich warte noch auf die Akkus, daher noch kein Flugbericht. Schub scheint ausreichend fr normales Fliegen. In jedem Fall sollte die Unterseite mit Glas verstrkt werden. Ich werde die 8Gr. Servos gegen 2Gr. austauschen und die Ruderschaniere gegen richtige Scharniere wechseln - so kann ich ein mech. EZFWK ohne Mehrgewicht realisieren - Platz ist genug. Evtl. teste ich noch einen alternativen Kyosho 45 mm Impeller. Der eingebaute Impeller ist nur mit einem Klebepunkt montiert-aber luft vibrationsfrei !! ein Schubrohr empfiehlt sich (Leistungssteigerung).
Very nice plane and very small, the engine power is not exaggerated and sailing just enough, I used Flightmax ZIPPY 1000mAh 3S1P 25C batteries that come in the room very well, I had to add a 5 gram weight on, so I think that the 1300 could well be used for both weight for size, as soon as I change the engine with a more Kv

I ordered it with my friend from DE and all came fast and without any scratches.
My model weights 360g with ZIPPY Flightmax 800mAh 3S1P 20C and 8 channel Frsky receiver. I extended wires from ESC and elevator servo and made new ailerons cables, so I can use ailerons as flap-ailerons. Noe of model I attached with strong magnets, so it can fall off in case of hard landing. C.G. is about 12-15mm before aileron servo cables that you can see on bottom of wing. Model starts very easy from hand, like combat planes. With this setup I can fly between 3:30 and 4:55, depending on weather conditions. I have done more than 20 flights without crashing it. Schöner kleiner Jet mit sehr guten Flugeigenschaften, Geschwindigkeit ist allerdings nicht sehr hoch und senkrecht steigen geht auch nicht. Dafür müßte dann getunt werden. Der Jet hat aber ein sehr schönes Flugbild. Ich fliege ihn mit 3s Rhino 1350. Nach 4 Minuten Vollgas muß ich ca. 900mAh nachladen. Zum starten nehme ich ihn von oben und werfe aus der Hüfte, bis jetzt ging das immer problemlos. Meinen Futaba 6106 2,4Ghz Empfänger hatte ich erst unter der Tragfläche, da hatte er aber komischerweise Störungen, die sich in Form von Servozittern zeigten. Das hatte ich bisher noch nie. Nun werde ich den Empfänger im Batteriefach einbauen. Der Jet ist baugleich mit dem Robbe Nanojet, bei Robbe ist er rot. Anleitung kann man sich also bei Robbe runterladen.
