More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance.
In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.
For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!
Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.
1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries: -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
Is there someone here with one (or more) of these packs in their possession? I need to positively confirm the 49mm dimension. If a real pack is just 2mm less, I can really use some of these! THX
Thanks Bruce. Kinda moot now as I already purchased 4X of the Rhino 25C 3700mAh 6S packs instead. Those are slightly too small and light for my needs but was the best available choice at the time.
I bought one as a test replacment for my Turnigy 30c 4000 lipo's of which I have 4. For $75 I am disappointed with the nano-tech. The peak amperage and peak power delivered are no better. The only difference I see is they are an ounce lighter, a bit thinner, and a bit longer than my Turnigy's. I won't be buying more.

nano 25 ~ 50C and less than the weight, it makes very little difference. I am being used Sebart wind s 50e. Powers of good and less heat than ordinary batteries Grade 50 is recommended for aircraft engines.

Got 4 of these to run as 12S in my Logo 600SE. Perfect balance with the packs pushed all the way back in the frame. These packs have some of the lowest mili ohm's that I have ever seen. Highest is 2,3 with the lowest being 1,7. Charging with a cellpro pl8 at 2C. So far after 16 cycles each I have had no issues whatsoever. Great value and certainly excellent performance. I have flown all the big name brands in this Logo, and these packs deliver the same, if not better performance.

Using it on a Trex500 ESP with EX Canopy. Using also DS650 servo. Balanced well. Good fit & good flight time! Excellent punch! Highly recommended

I order 2 batteries. but one battery`s 1st cell is not chagerable. Fix 3.86v. The ohter cells reach 4.20v. When another battery`s charge, 5th and 6th cell reach early. 4.10, 4,11, 4.11, 4.11, 4.21, 4,20....
Balancing time is too long.!! 3hours 30minute.

I have two of these batteries. I have about 50-60 flight in each, and they are perfect so far. After flight the battery temperature is about 50°c, and they become a little bit puffy, but the power is stil really good. However, the room under the canopy (Gaui X5) is really tight, I have to mount the battery really carefully, about 2-3mm from the motor. So if you buy this batery for the X5 you should notice that.
