This superbly finished and very scale BF109E is a perfect partner for our mini FW190D, supplied with a display stand, the paint and decals make for a striking looking model that is nicely finished with a three blade prop, proper "109" spinner and lot's of plastic molded parts that give this little parkflyer a scale finish good enough to put it on display in any part of the home without the wife complaining......too much.
Flight performance is excellent, all control surfaces are hinged and the pre-fitted servo's are more than up to the job. The pre-fitted brushless motor gives heaps of power for a genuine fighter like performance and build time is minimal thanks to it's Plug N Fly configuration, also included is a screwdriver to help with construction and a spare prop and clevises just in case. Cheap and fast to put into the air yet a real looker and performer, all this model needs is a FW190D to patrol your park with and a Spitfire from the range to dogfight with!
any chance of spare prop advice. either 3 or 2 blade. had a good fly with it today. but landing in a paddock with clumpy grass takes its toll. also any way to fit some fixed landing gear?
This is not a beginners plane, mainly because it has low mounted wings which means it is not as stable as a trainer. Also some warbirds have bad tenancies which could make learning difficult... and expensive.
Try getting a simulator first then you don't have to worry about crashing your planes.
PEOPLE WITH BROKEN BLADES!!!
I actually found a super nice solution to this problem
Use this prop apc style prop 8x6
Has nice scale speed and doesnt break everytime you land it
Flown it 26 times and counting just with one prop
Tip: for stock prop owners mind that before landing apply power and cut off throttle so inertia will slow the plane down while prorecting your prop
Hope this helps everbody!!
This is ****py product. The worst product I have ever bought from HK. (and I have bought a lot)
The material is rubbish, and it is almost impossible to fly it. (I am an intermediate pilot).
Save your money and buy something else.
ha ha ha, when i sad the TRUTH, immediately "someone" say bad words too of this product.. (and of the Site... INDIRECTLY !) ha ha ha, Very Funny site !!! P.S. (post scriptum) : WHY i cant write my answer to this "know-all" Radio-AmericaBoy ???!!! what a shame. (now I feel only sadness for this site) Great Americanboy, try to show me that I'm wrong (if you can, of course) poor you What a fake job that you have to do..
This site is perfect, I live in france, and all the products are good. The hotline answer very quickly, the only thing I can blame is some product take long time to come back in stock. I can just accord U that to buy on this site, it's better to know exactly what U want and what's your flying experience. Please stop writing here, let space for those who have pertinent questions to solve
ATTENTION this is the worst plane in the world. as soon as soon as i hand launched it, it rolled over in to a spin. the plane broke all 3 blades and the battery was no longer working. the 2 flight was just like the same but the crash was not as bad. all 3 blades broke and the brand new battery shut down. this plane sucks sucks sucks i would highly recommend to buy planes from parkzone
ha ha ha : for my bad english ?? yes, almost.. : Im italian of course !!! I wrote here because I find nothing place (correct) where I can write "my" problems with all the products of This Site . but, dont worry, : As long as you REALLY WANT to sell this product.. !!! (of course)
Hello Ivan
One best shot for this plane is the radio Turnigy 9x.
It is cheaper, have nine channels to be used on future models and also have cheaper rx for newest models.
Regards
Edney
hk t4a or hkt6a tx rx combo is a good choice for this plane would go for the 6 channel gives scope for newer planes with more control surfaces both are a similar price and cheap can always upgrade to a computer tx at a later date
Exist on THIS site a remote control for THIS plane ? What's the correct product to choice to use with this plane ?? Why you not add the page who suggest the correct 4 channel remote control ???

I too broke the propeller on this plane, but I can't seem to work out what you used to replace it with.
Did you use a prop adapter?
If you have the item ID that would be awesome.
Thanks.
The original 3 blade propeller was broken in the first landing, and the spare 3 blade propeller in the second :)
I replaced with 2 blade 9x6 elastic propellers (Emax product). It flies very well.
It came well packed without any damage. The assemble time is around 30 minutes. I recommend you to strengthen the bottom part with tapes since the foam is easily damaged on body landings. It flies perfect, I can say i did not even need to trim it except a few clicks on the aileron in her maiden flight.
I recommend it, but the soft skin is the propeller issue. After initial flights you will most probably break the original props and you will need to use a 2 blade propeller and compromise from the scale outlook.

I got the freebie a week ago and it was out of stock when I placed the order. It has now shipped and can't wait to have this plane. I have bunch of 7x6 APC style props, you think I could use them as spares for this?
John thanks for the Question. It is just about built. MOTOR, Hinges, servos. all fitted. You just fit the supplied prop and your receiver. Fit the wing and go fly. I hope this helps.

Please understand this is a semiscale, and NOT a trainer. I am not a 3D flyer but can manage this plane pretty good, at least it sharpens my refelxes because it´s fast and furius. The prop is the issue: even on a controlled landing on grass the possibility to break it is 50/50 and that´s because inferiour quality. Solution 1: Boil the prop for five minutes, makes it a bit softer or solution 2: buy a Kyosho prop for their spit or Me 109 in the Iridium series. D7XP6 part # A0951-06 and you are home free. Keep flying low and fast!

After balancing the model it flew well straight out of the box and required little trimming. Only issue is the elevator servo failed otherwise a very nice model to fly and admire.
Great product, excelent details and scale, only last landing gear to be perfect, but i will soon install it.

I finally maidened it last week and I was a bit surprised at how it flew. I used a Zippy 2S-800 pushed all the way forward into the nose and it flew "Pitchey" like it was tail heavy. Otherwise it really flew great with plenty of power. Like others have said, the prop included is VERY brittle and 2 of the 3 blades broke on landing. They give you a spare prop, but if I bust one on every landing, this model will not get flown much. The prop is a 7x6 3-blade, but the hub has a hex shaped recess to fit over the end of the motor. HK has it as PRODUCT ID: SPIT-BF-PROP for ~ $1.50, but they are backordered. I'll try to drill out a regular Master Airscrew 7x6 I got from HK in another shipment to see it it'll work without slipping, but it will not look as nice as the included props.
