I jut did a video review of this servo and one other type Copy nd pate this of you'd like to see them working http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=297Cgs1FSrg
It can move in both directions. If you take the signal from 1000us to 2000us it will move clockwise. If you take the signal from 2000us to 1000us it will go anti-clockwise.
what's the rotational range of these and how do I know how many volts will be going into these servos- will be using to in a pan tilt FPV antenna tracker - the ground station will be running off of a 3S lipo? thanks in advance
i got two 455oz servo for my e maxx and on the manual says this* Stall Torque (4.8V) gives (15.70kg/cm)=(220oz/in.)in (7.4V) gives (19.60kg/cm) (255oz/in.) and i want to know how can i give or feed the servo with 7.4v instead of a 4.8v with a mamba monster esc? i want to get all the torque it has or rated at.
the mamba monster bec actually puts out 5.5v, so its not that bad. if you really want 7.4v, they have a bec that puts out 7.2v. search for " 7.2V 4.5A UBEC 2-5S Lipoly (6-23v)" here on hobbyking
you should look into getting a bec. this way you can adjust the voltage that goes into the servo and with the right wiring setup separate the servo from the rx all together.
I would treat this 7.2V as suspect with regards to 2S Lipo Operation ability. (ie max 8.4v).
True HV servo's can (but many that say 7.2V can't and have a max operating voltage lower than 8.4V)
To date I've not been able to find the manufacturer to confirm this servos max Voltage)
I suspect this may be a XQ-Power servo (possibly an older version of the XQ-S5030D as specs are very similar) max operating voltage is 7.2V don't thing these are build to run 8.4V required for 2S lipo
I bought these servo (2 of them!) and they have really amazing torque. Config table says 1000-2000 us, but its really 600 (0 deg) - 2200 us (180 deg) (tested!). I'm running them on 2s Li-Po directly, without BEC and its working perfectly. :)
un servo maousse ! mais sous sa grosse taille, il developpe une grosse traction de 30kg. parfait pour le turnigy titan 1/5 comme gaz ou direction ! j'aime !!!
