Designed to be a direct swap out for Park 450 size motors. This brushlessoutrunner will provide more power and longer run times with its high efficiency. A quality motor, built specifically for planes designed to fly with Park 450 size motors.
Spec. Battery: 2~3 Cell /7.4~11.1V RPM: 1200kv Max current: 18A Watts: 175w No load current: 11.1V/1.1A Internal resistance: 0.06 ohm Weight: 66g Diameter of shaft: 4mm Dimensions: 28x37mm
can i use this to upgrade my brushed wingdragon 4?

is this right?
Hi Umar, The photos of the wingdragon 4 don't clearly show the motor/mount area, but this motor would probably work. You might need to modify the motor mount area on the plane a little. The power/thrust of this motor is a good match for the wingdragon 4. Use at least a 20A ESC to avoid problems, as this motor can draw as much as 20A depending on the prop you use. Cheers, EA!
Hi Umar, Thanks for the credit. You'll be okay using the 18A ESC with a 7x6 prop. You won't be drawing more than 15A. I use this motor on a 3D plane with a 9x6SF prop and draw almost 20A, but my prop is at the upper limit of what this motor can handle. Cheers, EA!
Saludos, EA!
Hi Pepek, Thanks for the endorsement. I'm using a Park480/1320kV motor on one of my 3D planes and have been very happy with it, so I decided to try this motor on a slightly smaller Sbach 3D. How much thrust have you gotten from this motor? Cheers, EA!
Used this in my Supercub which is 712g with the stock battery. 3s 1300mah with 18A ESC. 8X4 prop. 6 good flights, this motor seems well matched for this model. The Decatholon has a simalar airframe so I would say, check it out.
I would try an 8x4 apc electric for starters Just ordered this same motor for my mini ulta stick. ive bee cutting and bal. props with great result on an 890kv but with hot landing approach hard to slow down.. had to use flaps
Should I be able to reverse the shaft on this motor? I've removed the set screws, but the shaft is very tight inside the bell side of the motor. I'm afraid to tap it with a small hammer because I don't want to damage the motor.
But how can it be both 16 and 19mm on the motor?
Going to buy some motors for a quadrocopter frame. And it says that I should use motors with 16mm mounting hole distance. You think this'll work?
Great motor! With an 10x7 APC with 3 S 2200 Zippy much power for my scratchbuild spitfire MK V. Weight of plane 1,2kg. Climbs vertically, with gps evalated speed 139 km/h. Flighttime about 8 minutes. Highly recommended.
Motor muito bom, instalado num quadicoptero, com helices 8x4 e funcionam muito bem

Excellent craftsmanship. Provides smooth and precise flight to my 0.47kg 3D YAK55 with 2S LiPo and 9x6SF propeller.

I am using it in a 750g biplane and it has more then enough power to do pretty much any tricks you want to do. Using with 25A ESC, 2200mah Turnigy lipo and 10x4.7 prop. I also use a 9x4.7 prop from time to time and it still has more than enough power.
