im thinkin sbout putting this in a hk 450v2 for the tail is this a good fit?
 scuderi 5 points
hello friend, this servo is a very good choise for a class 500 ciclic, in you case you need a faster servo. My sugestion is a corona DS-319MG have used several times in my 450's tail. good luck.

This should be good enough for TZ-V2 .50 heli???
 gman4reel 134 points
No.but it is good enough for my T-rex 500

Will this be ok for steering of a car. Thanks
 PippowNL 151 points
It's a very stong servo for its size with metal gears so it can handle some pressure!
MegamanAT  2 points - 9/18/2012

Will this servo be usable for cyclic on a 500CMT? MG930 is out of stock...
 maipa 7 points
yes, I use on my hk 500gt all this time still no problem with couple crash.

Hello, How program with ga-250?, which is the frequency of this servo?
 Honza_IT 177 points
This is good servo but Corona DS-319MG is better for gyro setup.
Optimal configuration is 1520ms a 333Hz for both servos.

Are these servos compatable with other brands' servo arms? I need something like this with a metal arm.
 Heppy Ket 381 points
Risky, I would not expect them to be.
 billum2 172 points
Futaba arms fit, JR do not.
eangeli  3 points - 3/24/2012

are these servoes designed with a timing fault? can they shortcircuit the supply line of the ESC for short time?
 Heppy Ket 381 points
I would not think so, check the output of the ESC for your receiver and servo's etc, you should be looking at about 3amps, less than this could cause a brown out if everything is working at the same time. That can give the effect you are observing.
 billum2 172 points
Try this. Make a monitor lead from a servo extension lead. Seperate the wires near the middle and cut the red wire. Connect these ends to a digital multimeter set on 10 Amp DC range. Connect the lead between ESC and receiver. The current reading will be the total for servos and receiver. If it approaches 3A you have a problem. Wiggle all surfaces end to end, to get the worst reading. Watch the current as you move the controls and you may identify a binding control which needs attention.

will they fit in trex 500 for cyclic ?
 lewis meyer 1 points
should do
try geting the dimentions of the space you are trying to put them and the see if they match the ones for this

It owrks good in a HK450 Pro belt tail??
 billum2 172 points
These new servos are fast and accurate and inexpensive. You must judge for yourself whether they perform to your expectations. They certainly work well on ailerons in my fast electric glider.

Operating Temperature Range: -20J 60J

?????? Should that read -20C 60C
 Overfill 143 points
-20C to 60C yes. But -20C whit metal gear! I dont think it will work. Everything from bearings to gears shrink and will course slope.

Anyone use these servos ? want to put them in a modeltech magic ?
 Mahu44 184 points
I have these in 2 different planes, both .50 size. I find them very similar to the Hitec HS225 servos. I have not had any problems out of them so far. KOW...

I was surprised how well these worked. I had 2 of these and 2 of the 339HV servos. Very quiet. Centers very well. 31 gram from my digital scale.

These servos are juste a bit to big for HK500. You have to use servo spacer about 2 to 3 mm thin and it will run.

Great servo, fast and accurate. Very little centering slop and quiet. Electronics apparently quite bullet-proof - faced with locked up linkage it will sit there and melt the case off (literally) trying to position itself. Yes, thats a voice of experience. Giving it 4 for quality because of extremely soft plastic on the mounting logs ... I'd equate it to the consistency of a frozen candy bar! Still, excellent performance for a great price.
