Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 4S 25~50C Lipo Pack (USA Warehouse)

Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 4S 25~50C Lipo Pack (USA Warehouse)

More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo  nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance.
In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.
For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance.
Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

If you look closely you will see that 14.8 is blacked out on the label. It appears that the label can be used on multiple types of batteries.
FYI

It says 4S, but then it says it is 11.1V. Which is it? 3S at 11.1V or 4S at 14.8V?

Just noticed int the picture there are 5 balance chords, implying it is 4S. Also based on people not complaining I am guessing it is 4S haha. Finally the weight makes it seem like it is 4S.

Bought 2 batteries, stored for a month while waiting for quadcopter. Both batteries then failed with one bad cell each. No warranty because warranty is for 1 month after purchase. I'm going to have to cannibalize one of them to get a replacement cell for the other. I'm still a nanotech believer but I recommend purchasing at least the 35C versions. I'm guessing the ones that were binned as 25C are prone to failures.
