More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery. For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots! Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!Spec.Capacity: 5000mAhVoltage: 4S1P / 4 Cell / 14.8VDischarge: 45C Constant / 90C BurstWeight: 585g (including wire, plug & case)Dimensions: 166x50x37mmBalance Plug: JST-XHDischarge Plug: 4mm bullet-connector

I bought this lipo for an electric 1/8 buggy conversion. It arrived within a week, well packaged and undamaged. I had to swap over to a deans connector, and the extra long wires made this a snap. The gauge is pretty thick on the wire so my 30w soldering iron took a little while to heat it to the point it would take the solder. Id recommend a 45w iron. The cells were balanced within .05 of each other, and were .02 from highest to lowest after the first balanced charge (Onyx 235). It has about 10 cycles on it so far and there are no signs of any problems. The buggy puts some wear on the battery from dirt, vibration and an 'occasional' crash (ok quite a few crashes) but so far no puffy cells or non-cosmetic damage. Ive bought 6 more Turnigy-Nano lipos since then (all 1s 160mah 30c for an ultra micro plane) and they are great too. All 6 perfect. Cant beat the Nano, or the price.
