Designed for the RAF to replace the Folland Gnat, the BAE Hawk has become one of the most succesful jet training aircraft ever built and is used by many Nations both as a trainer and as a combat aircraft. The Hawk is of course used by the world famous Red Arrows display team and it is undoubtedly one of the prettiest military jets ever built, especially in this fantastic display scheme!

This beautiful Hawk just oozes quality, the deep gloss finish and attention to scale detail is amazing, this level of finish is normally reserved for large scale turbine models and EDF models with a much, much higher price tag, even the scale pilots and cockpit are included. The one peice removable wing is retract ready and features flaps, the glassfibre ducting is well designed & all included, the hardware is also good quality, as you would expect for a model this well made. For the final touch, we have a set of purpose built electric retracts available, which feature sprung scale trailing link legs and alloy wheels, they are designed to fit straight in with no mods (NOT included, see related items below).

As well as truly amazing looks, this H-King Hawk is designed for performance, there is tons of canopy space for Lipolys, a high power 6s set up would be the minimum for jet like performance, 8s would take you into ballistic territory! The Hawk is such a stunning jet to fly, both fast and aerobatic, so we would reccomend High Torque Metal Gear mini servos all round. This high quality BAE Hawk is one of the best looking and performing 90mm EDF jets available anywhere, a genuine scale, high performance EDF at an affordable price, for jet fans, this Hawk is a must!

Great quality kit, but..... The write-up above indicates pilots come with the kit - but my kit does not contain any. So is this a mistake in the description text here or should two pilots have been included?

I'll be doing the same, Kalps. The e-retracts look nice but they're twice the price and the wheels are too small for grass.

Recieved today fron Aus Warehouse new batch? no wheel wells or retract doors, Note: as stated by Scott were to be in the new batch, mine are not in the kit, anyone else got these in their kits??

Slaanesh Yes it does say retracks not included, but does not say wheel wells or gear doors are not included, to sell a plane without and sort of landing gear is very odd, this lovely model of BAE Hawk needs wheels of some sort don't you think ? they have gone into much detail in its finish and spoil it with no landing gear of any sort, cannot belly land this.

The wheel wells and mounting points for retractable undercarriage are there, but need to be exposed by simply cutting the film away on the underside of the wings.

bhè che dire!è molto bello,la fibra fa il suo lavoro,i carelli sono da comprare fissi o elettrici che si voglia mettere.per i carrelli elettrici c sono quelli su misura fatti stesso da HK anche se costano un botto,ma purtroppo necessari,consiglio d procurarsi delle cerniere per il fissaggio d alettoni,flap e comandi di fondo per il semplice motivo che non mi fido dei "dischi" di carta plastificata che escono al loro posto.sbavature spesso e volentieri nella cover che a parer mio per il prezzo mmm nn sono del tutto accettabili.spedizione in italia molto veloce,circa 7 giorni convenienza del prezzo della spedizione(1/2 del costo del modello) un po esagerata e attenzione alla dogana k m han fatto pagare l iva in piu al costo della spedizione.consiglio motore bello potente perchè pesa un po' e un regolatore sui 100A perchè senno' si fa di fuoco e si rischia di perdere il tutto. spero di essere stato d aiuto per gli italiani che comprano qui. ciao!

Just received my kit from the Australian warehouse and ordered the main parts to complete from the International warehouse. I think this kit is amazing value for money. Please don't moan everyone (unless the model has been damaged during shipping) - HK are offering these products at great value for money. Will post how my build and test flights go.
