These are inferior motors. 2 out of 2 motors had in excess of .015" runout on the motor can causing them to be un runable. I now have two expensive paper weights.
Avoid these motors at all costs.
Cheap enough that you can get some bearings from Boca and still have a good, inexpensive motor.
Bad bearings do $uck. I just got around to installing a Turnigy 3536C-1100 motor, and most of the reviews said it had bad bearings, and my motor's are tight. Argh.
I dont know how much HK paid for your reply but when i pay 27.00 (which is how much their competitor hobbyparts charges in the US)and the motor lasts for 10 minutes, i will not spend more money on parts for a second rate motor, and also their warranty is worthless, i t has been about 2 months since i reported to HK my problem and i am still waitting for the return authorisation ive sent about three emails, and ive had numerous other problems with HK products...angelo
I don't know why you would think that HK is paying me, when I also complained about a Turnigy motor I bought where most of the entire run seemed to have bad bearings from the start. Most Chinese motors don't have the highest quality bearings, though I've never had a problem with HobbyKing's own NTM motors. In fact I just ordered a different motor to replace the one with bad bearings, and will eventually order some new bearings from Boca for the other motor. $27 isn't a lot to pay for a brushless motor. $27 plus paying for a good set of bearings still costs much less than an Axi, Eflite or similar motor.

I ordered this motor 4 weeks ago from USA warehouse and it was a piece of s___. First the prop addapter thread jammed and i had to buy another adaptor at hobby shop. Now after only 10 minutes of running the motor started making a noise and after taking it to my local hobby shop, we both agreed that the bearing was defective. It got to the point that the noise it made was nerve racking. Now i know that what they say about chinnese bearings are true...they are a piece of S___.

I highly recommend this motor. I ordered this with the SU-26 1228mm, both from USA. Came quick and very well packaged. I'm running it with a 50amp ESC, 14x7 prop, both 3s and 4s batteries. It screams with my 4s and I'm getting 12-14 minute flights with turnigy 4s 3000. Enjoy!
