USA warehouse now open. Our USA warehouse is now open! Low cost shipping and an ever growing variety make ordering from the US warehouse even better value!
Arrived 4 days after ordered, in great condition. This is my first EPP model. Construction is fairly straight forward, probably a little difficult for a noob, thankfully the instructions are fairly good to get you through. Original power system is great. 2212 1400KV with a #S 1000mah turnigy 30C 9X6 APC pulls 220 watts! around the 22amp mark! id suggest a 30-35 ESC needless to say ROCKET

This is stunning in the air but... Balsa reinforcement inside the fuz above and below the wing, forward of the cofg will improve the lifespan hugely and make it easy to bring the undercart forward by 75mm. The wheels where they are will make hard work of every landing. No wheels would be better than the position as supplied. A little stiffening (celluloid) on the undersurface of the wing between the servos and the elevons control horns will improve control efficiency hugely. This model needs care in transit to the field. The family dog or even the baby could do real damage, on the back seat of the car. With care, you will have years of great flying.

This plane was my first experience with light weight EPP models. It will probably be my last. After hours spent assembling it I took great care to ensure that the motor & prop were perfectly balanced & even opted for a collet shaft adapter in the interests of keeping things smooth & intact. In spite of that on only its second flight the entire motor & its wooden mounting plate tore itself out of the plane causing a fair amount of damage to the nose in the process. Just poor quality & the usual stinginess with glue in the factory. Luckily I was able to land it without further damage. It can be repaired but why should I have to? In spite of that it was a lot of fun to fly while it lasted. Don't believe Hobbyking's weight claim of 400- 420 grams. With the recommended 1000mah lipo it weighed in at 465 grams. Trouble is it wont balance with a 1000 even pushed as far forward into the nose as it will go. You'll need a 1300mah to get the C of G right & that brings the weight up to 500 grams. You'll also need a bigger speedie than 18 amps. Mine pulled 270 watts at 25 amps with a 9 x 6 APC prop.
