More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance.
In short, less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.
Unfortunately with other big brands, numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!
The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.
1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries: -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
This battery dimension will fit the Savage Flux Hp with battery tray modification. You will have to drill holes through the battery tray sides to accept the & - banana plug wires leading to the battery.
when are these goung to be instock as im waiting alongtime now and want to buy 6 packs butr there always on backorder comeon hobbyking sort it out please i need to race but i cannot without these :(
I ordered my battery march 20th. It's now april 24th and it is still showing paid/processing. Total BS as far as im concerned. Now I see the battery is in stock in the usa warehouse. theres no way it should be in stock anywhere until they fill all the backorders first.
I got mine in a matter of days. Both were balanced perfectly.

These are great batteries! Bought 4 for my losi ten-scte. Last almost 20 minutes with medium to hard racing on indoor short course track. Amazing! Not as heavy as I thought they would be.

I am not a racer but I do go to practices days every week at 2 local tracks. I have about 6-8 cycles on the 2 packs I bought in my SC10RS with both 3930kv and 2230kv motors. The 6600 pack is a beast even compared to the 5300 nanotech pack I have. On the road the 6600 pack can pull wheelies even when geared for high speed runs. (45mph with gearing and this pack vs 42mph with 5300) The difference in punch is significant. On the track the run times are very long and I can go to practice for 2 hours on a outdoor track with only these 2 batteries. (Not driving the whole time but the run times are noticeably longer than my 5300 and GA 5000 battery) With the 2230 KV motor and the 6600 pack I can make doubles that I can not with my 5300 pack. Overall very happy with purchase and I highly recommend these packs.

I've had these for several months now, running mainly in my Losi SCTE with a Pro4/RX8. Good punch and stays good through the run. Amazing capacity for such an inexpensive pack. Slightly less punch and slightly more voltage drop than some of the "name brand" racing packs that cost 3 times as much, but all in all a great pack that I've not had any problems with.

Bought 4 to start with. After only few use in my 1/10 on road car, one of them had a slight puff to it. The rest OK. Later tested them out at a race in my Losi SCTE with 550 Novak Motor, After 10 min run, 2 more packs puffs up so bad, I threw them away. Rated 60C-130C, I thought they could handle the load, NOT!

I own three and run them in a sc4x4 with a Tekin rx8 paired with a Tekin sc4 5.5 turn 550 motor, monster torque but the bullet connectors melt off from the high amp draw.
