Designed for planes only, the H-KING escs are an excellent choice for any plane requiring linear, sharp and reliable throttle response on a 35A esc.
H-KING speed controllers have strict end-of-line QC testing and are SMT (Pick-n-Place) in the same room as the through-hole soldering(wires, capacitor) and packaging is done. Improving quality and reducing contamination and inconsistencies due to transportation. The H-KING 35A includes an XT-60 and 3.5mm gold plugs pre-soldered, plus to make it even easier it comes pre set-up with LiPo settings and Auto cell detection. The H-KING Speed Controller includes a 2A BEC (Battery Elminator Circuit) to power your receiver, there is no need to have a seperate receiver battery. The H-KING range of ESCs are both economic and reliable, plus they dont need any setup or soldering. Just plug it in and fly!
Hi guys anyone help me i have a query, i purchased one of these the other day to use in Bixler 1, every thing works fine, great easy to use instructions to configure, i went through all the settings then finished with pulling throttle down and all ok it armed and throttle works, but when i just leave it alone for a few seconds it gives off one loud beep, and then intermittently continues give one loud beep. any one no what this means, oh by the way dosnt seem to do it once you got throttle on.
it signalling that you have the power on but it is not receiving any input from the controller, i think its a feature to prevent draining your battery and the ECC expects to receiving throttle commands and is saying its not receiving any.
Thanks HughMichael for answer, first time i used these esc, usually use Turnigy plush but i liked these due to all the battery and bullet connectors are already soldered on,, was a bit worried and havn't flown the plane yet, in case their was any signal loss or anything, but i've done a static test for 5 mins with the motor running and it dosnt beep, only when left standing without any inputs from transmitter. So if wether good tomorrow i will maiden the plane thanks
Also i like the idea that its all wired up, has the xt60 plug that matches my 2200 flightmax battery and also the bullet connectors connect straight up to the supplied motor, as i have never tried soldering b4
Anyone no if these are ok in a Bixler vers 1.1, im a beginner to all this, when i purchased the plane it says to use a 20a esc, just thought i would go a little bit higher on the specs.
Credit where its due, this is a very nice to just plug and play with the connectors pre-soldered. Included instruction manual is good and easily explains how to program the ESC through the remote.
Only concern is the 2A BEC which browned out on the ground with 4 HXT900's, I would advice an external switching BEC if your going to be pushing your aircraft hard.
hey, my 35A FMS esc is broken i think, because it makes weird noises and heats up a lot so i need a new one, but i have a spare 30A speed controller, does the 5A make any difference? or should i just buy a new one?? Thanx
depends on the motor and battery configuration if you motor requires say 20A then the 30A would be ok but if your motor requires a 30A speed controller i would suggest getting a 35A or 40A
yeah it might work but it wont be very smooth anyway if it is very high kv then id probably recommend the Hobby King 20A ESC 3A UBEC (AUS Warehouse) or the Turnigy dlux 20A SBEC Brushless Speed Controller w/Data Logging (2s~4s) (AUS Warehouse)
A good, basic ESC. DO NOT USE for multi-rotors, as you'll never get operation similar enough to work. Still, great on fixed wing stuff
