MIG-29 twin 35mm EDF Micro Jet EPO (PNF) (AUS Warehouse)

This tiny Jet is amazing, EPO foam combined with its featherweight stats means it will be very forgiving of the odd less than 100% landing. The twin 35mm Fan Units & ESC's are pre-installed as are the linked elevator/aileron servos, the model comes in 2 pieces so all you have to do when it arrives is attach the vertical stabilizer, hook up the RC equipment to a Reciever that uses Micro Molex 3 Pin conectors, such as the HobbyKing OrangeRX 4 Channel Micro reciever and you are ready to go...... where were we? Ah yes, performing those famous Swifts aerobatics in the local park, basketball court, in fact pretty well anywhere, these models are an absolute hoot when flown with friends, in fact get enough of you together and see if you can pull off some of those breathtaking close formation routines the Swifts display team are famous for!

Aside from some flying buddies the only other thing you are going to need is a portable charger and a container for carrying spare Lipolys, because you will have so much fun with this, I would carry a few! This jet is so cute, even your Wife will like it!

Have one too..its not the power..its aerodynamics..like all the modern shapes...had about 15 attempts..will hit the deck every time at full noise..like the little F-35 did over and over.. Launch it at roughly 40% thrust ..and as soon as its off..no stalling..open power..and its all good :-) same as on a F-35..at full power/low speed i.e. launch..it seems to "suck" itself nose down... to get the right launch power..try it over long grass! It still flies like **** though...underpowered, which a pair of thrust tubes of correct diameter solved quickly..same with the micro MiG-15...have a play...its worth it at the end..unless you know what you doing though...find something more docile here :-)

This jet is not real good, I used the Zippy Compact 2s 850 in it had 4 goes to get it to fly with the COG at the req setting and it only goes about 10 foot then into the ground not enough power at full noise. I will try the 3 blade prop in it in a few days but don’t like my chances of it flying.

Changed the fans to the 3 blade with a 3s 500mAh battery with all control surfaces set at 90pcnt and still had trouble. Went back to the 5 blade with 70pcnt on all control surfaces and it goes a lot better but I only get about 3mins flight time. Will try about 50pcnt next weekend and see how it goes. It does have a habit of rolling to the right when you power off so just be aware of it. Where I fly it the guys like the look of it in the air and it does fly a lot better now. I would now recommend it now.
