Has anyone used these props on a Xcopter or any multirotor? I've heard that 3 blade props are more stable for some reason. I plan to replace my slow fly two blade 8 x 3/8 with these props. This is what I will be putting it on.
3 blade props also have more surface area to generate lift, so if 8x3.8 props were not too small for your setup, don't go up in diameter. HD8040 3 blade already has a bit more pitch and also is heavier than your current props. Unless you have motors & controller, that can take even more pitch and slower RPM changes you arem akeing things worse for yourself. Try HD8040 first & always balance all your props for quads!
If you ordered NTM Prop Drive 28 Series Accessory Pack with motors than you don't need any additional prop. Adapter to install that prop to your NTM motor.

The closest is the 2-blade propeller 10x4, 7. The two-bladed 10x6 is almost identical, eg 10x6 GWS Hobbyking of acts similar to a 10x4, 7 Slow Fly. Therefore, you can use a 10x4,7 SF or a GWS 10x6 5 instead then a three-bladed 9x5, without problems.
first time i bought those I had to wait more than 3 months, anyway I dont recomend you these propellers, I've teste then with several motors and it aways drains more current carring the same load than prop. 10x4.5. I recomend you to use 10x4.5 2 blade instead of these.
You might check out the TowerPro Brushless Outrunner 2409-12T and the GWS 8040 3-blade. Check out the review Philip Fu to get an estimate of power consumption at 2S. Most of the cheap towerpro motors are low KV and would all be fine with this prop power wise, but may not give you the thrust you want with 2S.
These are a great one to use. I will be using them on my X8 build (8 motor quad... push/pull setup). Alot of people use these with... Hobbyking SS Series 18-20A ESC TR 28-30B 14A 1050Kv Brushless Outrunner
The total diameter is 9 inches (~22.86cm) pitch is 5inches (~12.7cm) the length of each blade from the center of the prop should be 4.5 inches (~11.43cm)
They are made of good quality plastic. I intend to test them in a quad-copter. It should help by reducing the diameter of the 4 propellers to be used and the hence the distance between them resulting in frame and weight optimization.

This propeller is very necessary for my GWS-38. It compensates the torke and looks like more realistic. Good price and efective.
Fantastic!!!

To everyone here who thought this is a set of counter rotating (1 cw rotate and 1 ccw rotate) props, the HK description is admittedly confusing. It should state instead, two pcs reverse rotation propellers. This can be seen by looking closely at the picture. If you want a set of counter rotating props, e.g., for a twin motor plane, you must buy these 2 props and also 2 pcs of the standard (c/w) rotation GWS 3 blade 9/5 props, also sold by HK.

A well made prop that makes any rite sized twin engine fly with no tourque problems. Well priced if you do have a rough landing.
