i intend to use this on a hexTronik 16gram Brushless Outrunner 1700kv (PRODUCT ID: HXM2211-1700) and wonder how best to adapt the mounting as the as the motor shaft is a tiny bit small for the hole... is it possible to fit heatshrink as a workable "fattener" for the shaft ? are there other adapters to increase the diameter ?

I was thinking the exact same thing - but having tried doing this with other shafts/miss-matched props -n general have found that clevis heatshrink eventually the pull of the prop pulls the heatshrink off the shaft.

Can't see why not, just check the shaft size, this one is pretty skinny.

It has a small adapter. You could make it fix.

I'm looking for a folding prop spinner. I have 8x5 blades with a turnigy c3536-1600 motor mounted at the back of my wing. Is this product fine for me ? thanks

The alum folding prop/hub is excellent just check shaft diameter before ordering.

Arrrrgghhh Just received it. The shaft is too narrow. Can't mount it on my motor. I think I hate internet trading.

Hello Romain, go and widen the bore with a drillmachine. Good luck Reg. Martin

7 thumbs up!
Hub is really nice. Would be even better if it would take a 3mm shaft! Note only 2-2.3mm and probably not enough meat to bore out.
One blade had miss-aligned hole - hence 4stars. takes blades with 6mm wide holder and 2mm hole - hence fitted Graupner blades - works great.
Hub dia is 32mm and hence fits the 'Pretty' a treat.

4 thumbs up!
One of the blades cracked durring a test-run, resulting in a destroyed model and motor. The hub itself shows no signs of damage. Use Aeronaut/Graupner blades only and throw away these supplied!
The was no signs of damage on the blades before the test-run.

3 thumbs up!
Although the blades supplied are slightly less modern looking than shown, with rounded tips, they are nevertheless very effective. Alternative bore sized shafts ought to be provided at reasonable cost thus increasing the application for many more motors. Being lucky enough to have a lathe, I have successfully bored mine out to 3mm (maximum). The hubs are cheap enough even if you replace the blades with Aeronaut/Graupner etc.
