they should protect from overload and under load of voltage, these are used to store excess or some energy. This will then provide a steady voltage throughout. You can install them if you are getting some cogging or voltage drop when you accelerate quickly this will make the boat smoother.

what resistors, they might be capacitors to hold some of the excess charge(energy) on high load.

Hi Ji-soo, You don't say if you are going to use a 3S or 4S LiPo, so I'll answer for both options. This prop would be a very good choice for that motor on a 4S LiPo. The motor would produce approx. 1000g of thrust, but still run cool. This prop is too small for running a 3S LiPo on that motor. You would want at least a 10x6 or 10x7 prop to take full advantage of the power that motor can produce. Cheers, EA!

Hi mauemmel, This prop will work on the NTM3542/1250kV with no problems, but it is way too small to get the maximum power out of the motor. This prop is better suited to a motor in the 300W-350W range. The NTM3542 is a 500W-600W motor and can easily turn props as big as 10x7, 11x6, or 12x5. If you need to use the shorter prop because of the size of your plane then you might look at smaller/lighter motors to save some weight. Cheers, EA!

those APC style propellers all have the same 3mm diameter hole and you can drill/ream bigger holes from your prop adaptor.

No it is not pusher propeller. But you can just change the direction of motor rotation. For the electric motor it is easy.

Pusher propeller is no different from usual. Only in the direction of rotation. This is true for the combustion engine, since there can not change the direction of rotation. But if you want this site has a pusher propeller MASTER AIRSCREW

No, its not a pusher. And make sure you balance these, all the ones i got were WAY out, the hubs weren't drilled quite in the center.

I use these props on my pusher all the time. I believe you have to reverse the motor and reverse the prop on the shaft. If you just reverse the motor the trailing edge of the prop will be leading and it won't be efficient. They are fine for a pusher if you set up right. Just make sure thrust is going in reverse obviously and that the prop is turning into it's leading edge.

For an electric prop to be used as a pusher, make sure the Printed side of the propellor (Embossed where it says 9x6) points towards the nose of the plane and then mount it. It will fly perfect and there will be no loss of efficiency. Cheers Ravi.

a pusher prop is a must in case of gas engines ( not electric ) .. else wise any prop can be used as a pusher prop by changing any two wires of your brushless motor... dont forget to put the prop in the convex position looking from the front to the back !

The hole needs to be opened up with a prop reamer, you could use a drill if you are very careful but a prop reamer is much better.

For bixler go with 6x4E APC and You won't regret it. If U want to use 9 inch props then U have to mount the motor 3 inches upward. Can be done but little bit ackward :)

No. The prop generally has fairly good quality (be sure to balance the prop befor mounting, ALWAYS* mine almost always need some tape to get balanced), but this 9x6E is way too big for the stock motor, will draw too much amp if running, or will not start running at all. Run 6x4E like the others said* or You can try APC style 6x5 if you want more speed: test if the ESC and/or battery get too warm (over 120F or 40 degree C) after running 30 second full throttle* if too warm, stay with 6x4 or 5x5 A

I'm using this motor. For 3D flying you can use some slowfly props such as 10x4,7 APC or it's clone. Also a good prop for it is 10x5 SlowFly from Graupner (looks really cool). With this prop with 3s 2200/25c it takes 28A but with thrust of 1,2kg (maybe even better). For FPV/trainer/scale flying APC 10x5E will be enogh. In this case peak current with fresh battery will be about 25A.

i used them with my motors but sure you have to bore them and use the supplied ring when fitting it to your motor. but it is nice if you test it to see if it is balanced too.

Generally they are not too bad due to the injection moulding process forcing the material in to a mould on the level => the same pressure so the material should be spread equal throughout.

The APC props are also brittle. It seems to be a fact of life that thin efficient stiff props are also a little brittle. I guess they aren't made to bounce off obstacles.

better to give up a prop, than to give up a motor shaft... recently i had a crash with this prop and motor were recovered completely undamaged. in similar crash with jxf strong prop everything went vice versa - i have managed to recover undamaged prop, not the motor )

Some times they are a bit brittle, have you tried using a prop saver they save the shaft and the prop.

Just use a dril bit slightly larger than your shaft diameter. The predrilled hole is not gauranteed to be on centre hence they supply the little rings which are designed to ensure the prop sits true on your shaft. The whole idea of the system (exactly the same as the true APC's) is to centre the props without them having to worry about getting the hole exactly right - it is designed so you over bore the predrilled hole and use the included rings to get the exact fit on your motor shaft.
