HGD digital 260HB CarbonGear Servo 16g / .12 / 2.0kg
HGD Digital Servo 2.0kg Made in Korea, the INO-LAB range of servos offer excellent quality, precision and reliability. High precision, digital accuracy and long life make this an excellent choice for small 3D flyers.
Features; High Speed Carbon Gears. Ball Bearing support Excellent for park flyers and shockflyers. Alloy heatsink allows potentiometer and motor cooling.
Uses the same gear set as the HG-D261, this is why it's faster/less torque than the metal gear version. The gear ratio of the carbon gears is different than the metal set.

9 thumbs up!
Obviously this is a precision servo. A little bigger than I expected but it has loads of torque and very fast. Most of all, no buzz at all.
Perfect for Speedy/Easy Glider Rudder/Elevator. For the Ailerons go for HG-D202MG. Same torque, half the weight, much smaller and comes with metal gears, (and don't forget to hide the bill from your wife!)

Very fast, precise Servo with a very smooth running gear. Very high torque for this size. Weight on my scale with horn mounted is 18 gr.

2 thumbs up!
I bought 4 pcs for my SJM390V2.5 heli that I bought from Hobbycity too. I installed 3 pcs for the cyclic and 1 pc for the gy401. The servo ears did not fit perfectly on this heli though, but with a little trick and common sense, one can fix the problem quite easily. The servos are light, run smoothly, no noticeable slop, no noise, move precisely and centre well. Their torque and speed suffice the demand of this heli for normal flying without 3D, and I was satisfied and happy that I have made the right choice, without having to pay more for the branded counterparts. I would be happier had I bought the metal gear version that can survive crashes.

As already said about the 202HB, these ones are also fast, strong and precise. Compared to other servos, I think they are pretty close to their advertised specs. Carbon gear servos are my first choice: stronger than nylon, although not as crash resistand as metal gears. But carbon gears are much more wear resistant than nylon and especially (!) metal. So you won't get any center play over a long time.
