I thought worse but I have to change my mind, good acceleration on a 5kg beast "e-revo bl" a pity that all the heating was on the engine .. eheh .. as if it were a boiler the Trackstar ... ^ ^ Promoted, however, given the price given!
yes, but if you have mamba esc or any equivalent this battery is only 20c. (5000MaH x 20c =100A)
buy at least 5000Mah 30c battery(5000Mah x 30 =150A) because your car will be much better.
I think Turnigy Accucell 6 50W charger would be enough, that's with what I am charging mine.
Battery comes with HXT 4mm plugs, you will need Banana to HXT 4mm cable to plug in power cables to the charger to charge it.
You can make own cable, HK sells also 12/10AWG wires, I made my own cable, you can find both Banana plugs and HXT plugs to create cable, soldering is easy.
any lipo charger that will handle up to a 2s battery I have this battery and an eco 6 charger and it does great. You will want something that can charge up to 5 amps but its not nessary but will take a while to charge if not. you cant charge it over 5 amps because of the c rating
you can use any sort of plugs such as the xt60's and the hobbyking lipo chargers are just the best because they are cheap and reliable. the xt60 plugs are just to easy to soldier with.
thanks.
Does anyone have a Savage XS Flux equiped with this battery? It fits well? It has enough power? Thank you.
Algué*m tem a Savage XS Flux e usa essa bateria? Encaixa bem? É* suficientemente potente?
Obrigado.
1c which is 5amps on a 5000mah pack thats safe but you can charge it at up to 2c if you want to charge it faster.I also always balance charge for safety.
You can charge it with 2C, which means 10A, if you do not want to wait too long.
If you want that the battery has a longer life, you can charge it with 1C, which means 5A.
You said you have a B6AC charger, which can only charge up to 5A. So you can use the full power of the charger.
BK refers to backorder. It should say near the bottom of the page how soon new stock is expected. You can also enter your email to be notified when new stock arrives.
I think it's the backorder stock. It should have a - before the number to show how many orders it has to fill before it zeroes out. Usually if they receive more than the backorders the number will go positive to show how many available for order. They've been getting better about keeping stock rolling in.
I would try to stay around 1C for the most part. You will get more cycles out of them but if you are at a track and want to run more often, then charging at 1-2C is ok, just make sure to keep an eye on them and make sure they are balanced.
These are regular Lithium-Polymer, so you want to charge them at about one "C" (which is 5 Amp for these) and you should charge them upto 4.2v/cell. The label claims you can charge them at 2 "C" which would be 10Amps, but that does shorten the life span. Hope this helps.
The max charge per cell is 4.20V. Make sure to not go over that. And for this battery 1C charge rate is 5 amps and 2C is 10 amps. But for this quality of battery I would stay around 1C (5 amps) to get the most cycles out of them.
i would suggest buying the hardcase zippy batteries they are much easier fit and much safer battery these soft packs can explode a whole lot easier than a hard pack
I would use as big batteries as you could find, something like this www.link As for the charger, you'd have to spend a pretty penny to get something that would charge that big of batteries in decent time, I would just use this one www.link it will do 5 amps, so you're looking at about 8/5 hours or about 1 hour 40 minutes for the big 8000mAh battery. Hope that hel
Funny thing about these......I bought some about 6 months ago, and they fit great in my Rustler....I ordered more, and they showed up BIGGER than the first set i ordered.....go figure....so now..the new one's just don't drop in....
Just buy 2 of the Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 5A Balancer/Charger and you will be good to go. If you get a charger that has 200watt you can charge 2 or 3 lipos at a time 2sx2s=4s 2sx2sx2s=6 but its going to take long because you can only charge at 5amps.
the thunder charger charger is reallly nice it comes with everything you need and more they cost 120 for two and that with shipping you can get them on xheli****
Does anyone who owns one of these packs know if they will fit into a Traxxas Slash width wise? I have heard other people commenting about having to cut a notch out of the battery tray for the wires, but from the looks of it these are just to wide period. Length and thickness isn't a problem but width is. Will these even fit?
I've seen people mention that they can vary in size. I have had 2 of these that I have to press firmly into my 2wd slashes. You need to be careful with the wires though. I massaged mine slowly to bend them upwards to clear the width. If you pull too hard on them you'll get to perform a little "lipo surgery".
Hi i just got the supervee-27 and i see these batterys will fit but why are they so cheap and do you think they will work well....5000mah for $30 is crazy
I've had mine for a couple of years and I've not been nice to them. I think the local store markups are outrageous. Most things I'll buy local if the price is within $20 or so but the cheapest comparable lipos locally are $75. I can throw a couple of these away and have a good one for that price. Just charge them in a lipo sack or fire safe and you should be fine.
Well the width is actually around 50mm...not going to change that. The length of my battery is 140mm.
I don't have a Tamiya DF-02 chassis, so I can't comment on fitment.
I do have a ProBoat Miss Elam, and they have worked beautifuly on the first run.
To the makers of this battery...this is a popular size (2S 5000Mah) for such boats as the Aquacraft UL-1, SuperVee 27, and the ProBoat Miss Elam Brushless, Formula Fastech, and Black Jack 26. Of course, more Mah in the same size or smaller would be nice...
Well Hello Guys, I would like to use this battery in my Trex 700. But the problem is this battery hasn't got JST Socket and also the its not possible to change to jst because the wires are 4mm and jst is only 2mm so if ý make a convertor cable, like one side Bullet-Connector and the other side JST is everything is ok for my trex? also ýll give an information about my heli ý use an RCE-B6T ALIGN regulatior.
You are right, jst will not fit the cable, unless you trim lipo cable a bit. You honestly can cut half of the cable (in diamteer) and solder the remaining amount to the jst plug.
You can also buy a jst plug with a cable and solder the jst cable to the lipo cable.
You will not lose aperage this way, because still the jst connector will be the waekst link in the chain.
The last, and the best, option is to change jst plug in your heli to bullet that matches this lipo
I agree, the only way to plug in now a days is with a 4mm bullet connectors (today's car racing hookup) or a deans plug. Hey Duncan, When I raced 30 years ago, RC10s & RC12s we were soldering for every battery switch....... No loss in the plugs. HISTORY
will this fit my traxxas rustler. My tray is 140mm x 47mm x 27mm. some body had say in the review they used this in ther rustler VXL but how did you get it to fit.....hate to cut my tray up......Vern
Yes, you would have to dremel the sides of your battery tray.... i have several rustlers and several of these batteries and with about 5 minutes of dremel work, it fits fine.
if i were you i would just get the zippy hardcase they are the same battery but smaller so they will fit i got these batteries at first and was smashing them into my b4 which a later found out was not a good idea
...don't known abouth HC adapter. Take a look at HC site index "parts & accessoires" sub index "Plug -wires, etc", all stocked connectors and cables are shown on those pages.
These are great packs and can't be beat for the money. I run them in my 3905 Emaxx and it screams. Far better than any Nimh packs I've used. They hold voltage very well and I get over 25 min of solid runtime with these.

I'm using these in my HPI E- Firestorm Flux with Sidewinder 5700kv Motor and ESC. Truck gearing is 19T pinion and 87t Spur. Rear tires that I use are Pro-Line Dirt Paws. Terrain is a mixture of thick grass and hard packed dirt track. Mixed runs were done to try to max out the readings.
Wattsup meter readings: 384 watts, 54.6 Amps max
Cellpro 10 reported an internal resistance of 4 Ohms.
I am quite happy with the performance of these batteries.

I run these packs in my Traxxas rustler VXL and Slash. Excellent performance. The pack is a few mm wider than the battery tray. Would definitely buy more.

I bought this for my Associated T4. Not a direct fit, but the pack ran great. I got about 25 min. runtime with my Mamba Max 4700.
