I have a T-rex 550 coming in the mail. Are these decent batteries for that size bird? I plan to fly mild 3D on Idle up the whole flight. What can I be expecting for flight times? I also have a T-rex 600 DFC that I am used to running 2X 4000 mAh Batteries. I see that people are using these on hk 600. Is this battery an option for my 600 for a 4 plus min. flight? thanks guys.

Can anyone confirm that they do come with 4mm connectors on them? Just so I can order the right bullets to put on the ESC.

yes, on the positive red wire, it's female connector, and on the negative- wire, it's male connector. Therefore, your esc will need a 4mm male connector on the red wire and a 4mm female on the negative.

Thank you very much ohmm! I have ordered the 4mm bullets to go with it, and it makes sense having a female on one, and male on the other, so u can't connect it up wrong. Thanks again!

yes they do have 4mm connectors, red wire is female connector, negative wire is male connector.

Thanks again mate, But I have just figured out that I am going to need to change them out for something else, as the 4mm Bullet connectors here seem to be rated to 80amps, and I am going to use them in a Trex 600, which has a 100amp ESC, so Im going to get some 6//8mm Bullets capable of handling the up to 100amps .

Battery came today, had 4mm bullets on it, Ive swapped them out for some 5.5mm ones

I received the batteries although HB says they're 4mm but I bought 4mm male connectors for the ESC but its too small!!! Looks like its a 6 or 8mm connector that's given!!

Could somebody please (accurately) measure the diagonal? :-)

I need the battery in an odd configuration in a circular tube, and the dimensions are very near the maximum.

I have 3 from this battery in a T-Rex 600 with Fuselage, with a 120A Hobbywing, it work perfektli and the temp is cool of the Battery and the Hobbywing fly minutes = 9

I have three of these flying in my Trex600ESP. They work great, but at 20C they are somewhat limited in "pop". One battery even survived two hard crashes.

Dont not use this Battery in a Trex 600!

Instead get two 3 cell 5000mAh 20C packs becasue when you series the pack together not only do you get twice the voltage (22.2V=6cell) but you also get twice the C rating so you would get 40C and for a heli you need a high C rating

^ This is false you either get 2x the voltage(series) OR 2x current(C) (parallel)

Do anybody know the internal resistance of this battery? It would be very helpful if HC could list the internal resistance of their batteries by pack or by cell. It would make using some of the available model programs a lot easier!

Internal resistances of cells is not consistent enough between packs to list accurately. My packs run anywhere between 3 milli-ohm and 6 milli-ohm per cell after 35 cycles, with variances between cells in the same pack.

This will be fine in the t-rex 600, you only need 1, but buy two at this price :-)

yes you can run one battery at a time. I use it in my trex 600 with over 6mins of flight. In my 30% magichand yak54 im using 2 of these in series. flight time is around 15-18mins turning a 24" prop.

Actually the weight is about 720g, not 754g. The spec is wrong. It's lighter than the 25C pack.

I'm using these packs for a 12s setup on the 89" AJ Slick from 3D Hobby Shop.
Power system is Reaper brushless GR70, Spin 200 and Xoar 24x10. Draw @ WOT is 118a. The packs are performing perfect and providing huge power and great flight times. I'll buy more for sure.

Great little 6s, works perfect in a T-rex600! Great flight time and no problem pulling 3D with this battery! Getting a solid 6min of flight time in idle up performing 3d.

Cheap well working lipo, I flew 3pacs today -3 celcius no wind, i'm doing hard sportsflyning with my t-rex 600e stock. 6min of flying idleup used 3900mAh just as my other lipos same size diffrent brand, so i'm very pleased with this.

Same results as previous poster. 41F aerobatic flying...loops, flips, rolls, stalls, etc. 6 mins of idle up and batt was 93F. 3.74v/cell. Recharged and put back in 3920 mAh. Just love this battery in my stock T-Rex 600e

I am amazed everytime I buy hobbycity lipos at how other companies can charge upwards of triple the price for the same or less quality than hobbycity. This is another winner in my book, I am using these in my trex600e funkey bell-222 fuselage and getting around 8 minutes of flight. This pack is more than 5000mah I would say more like 5200mah. It does come down a little warm but remember it is powering a scale heli that weighs a lot with full retracts and lights.
