The servo comes with a servo accessory package and is made with a heavy duty servo case, the servo is designed for R/C high performance Car applications. Double ball bearing with flexible rubber waterproof, otherwise the ourput spline is same with Futaba 25 tooth.
This servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connector also known as a "Universal Connector". Even thought this servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connectors, this servo is electrically compatible with Futaba receivers.

I purchased one of these servos for the tail of a Gaui 425 as the Futaba 9001 I had was too slow. Apart from speed the 9001 worked well behind the HK401B Gyro. Power is fed through the UBEC on a Red Brick 80 amp ESC. My radio is Spektrum DSMX. LIPO 6S (2 3s 1800 in series)
After replacing the 9001 with the 631 The receiver led goes out and the servo does not respond to tx commands. I am presuming that this servo is drawing too much current and suckung the system down. Is this a bad servo or do I need to change something to make it work.

has anyone done a bench test on these servo's to see how much current they draw ?
I have the metal geared version on my tail on a 30 nitro, very happy with the performance, but my rx battery pack gets low in voltage after about 2 flights, where I could do easily 6 flights with my hitec servo on tail and that's a huge difference for just one servo. I don't have all the tools to do the bench test. many thanks in advance.
THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS THE SERVO TO BUY!!!! OR ITS METAL GEAR VERSION!!! DO IT OR DIE!! i got 6 of these and 6 of the bms-631mg and omg!!! fast, smooth, lite, quiet, precise centering and powerful! i hope this servo will always be here.
This finally solved my heli tail jitter problems inexpensively. I believe the high strength and adequate speed of this servo (with a GY240 or GY401 gyro) is more than enough for my basic aerobatics and 3D skills.
Wow this servo is ace very happy with the performance, smooth and quiet in operation and plenty fast enough for the tail servo in my 500 size helis. Thanks HK
