Sure you can use this charger but if you are into RC for the long haul I suggest that you get the HobbyKing ECO8 150W 7A 8S Bal/Dis/Cyc Charger w/ acc. my experience with zippy some of the older packs cme with 14 most of them nowhave 12 awg

They are 12 AWG wire. I think they should be 10 or 8 AWG seeing as they can discharge up to 160A

I use this battery in my slash 4x4 it has tons of power and long run time. I see no side effects from the 12AWG compared to a similar 10AWG battery.

By the way, for Aircraft/Heli users, I don't think your going to use something that draws 160 A for a long period. Also, IMO, the continuous C rate displayed by the manufacturer should not be considered as a standard continous C rate. This may be right for the first few cycles, but after...don't even think about drawing that A...For good results, I consider a battery C rate that is at least twice as the max application. Doing so, you'll be able to throw dozens of cycles.

Yes these are 50-51mm wide plus a few more mm wider for the wires in the front. Just about all 4000-5000mah packs from here are to wide for most 1/10 scale land use. Unless you want to do some mods that make your chasis weak usually.

they will not fit your sc10, the width in some points reach 52-53mm.... hobbyking is wrong and the true weight is 362gr-365gr, i got 4 of these batterys and i have measured all!!
