USA warehouse now open. Our USA warehouse is now open! Low cost shipping and an ever growing variety make ordering from the US warehouse even better value!
An excellent parkflyer sized EDF jet (EPO). The jet comes 95% pre-built and comes with a powerful 25A brushlessEDF system and steerable nose wheel.
Because the jet is made from EPO, it is very resistant to breakage and will literally bounce in light crashes. The material is also easily repairable and quite flexible.
1. good quality for th price.
2. better than styrofoam, stronger, but not bad-crash-resistible. strong enough for "belly" landigs.
everything has its own lifetime unless you're a perfect pilot or using Gyro receiver...
cg is located at 66mm back from the wing leading edge. batery slides as far forward as possible, add nose weight if correct cg. is not reached with battery alone.
I use mina as a bellylander, and that works fine. The plane might be a bit noseheavy out of the box, and when you remove the landing gear (front wheel) this helps a lot on the CG Lands very smoothe on the grass without Landing gear :)
I bet some people are wishing this was stocked in the USA as well. I am so tried of waiting for great products to come. Yeah, I know about EMS service. Great by the way, but we can stock some more in the USA warehouse too right HK?
Am interested in either this F16 EPO or F15 EPO also on HK. Would like to be able to fly on stock 3S setup. Lots of early problems with unbalanced and rubbing blades on F16 EDF - have these been resolved? Any advice on which to go for F16 or F15? Thanks
By the bad reviews about the propulsion system I think this F-16 should be sold as a kit. I don't want to cut a new plane to change a bad EDF kit....
And by the way, how does it fly?
Tested a similar F-16 EDF in a flight sim (Not sure if G-5 or Phoenix) and that was an absolute joy to fly.
I'm wondering if is this the exact same model they have in the RC Sim...if it is is a must have EDF! One of the best planes I ever flew on a simulator!
when setting up the servo links, is there a way to give the elevons more movement? it doesnt pull up too fast for my liking. does it have to do with the flaps on the wings moving in the same direction as the rear elevons? would disconnecting the wing flaps give the thing more maneuverability? I heard from a mate that some f16's the wing flaps work opposite to the rear flaps or something which make it turn better?
when you change your servo's to 125 or change the connection on your servo more is that maybe possible , which setup you have fan etc wemocopy ? thanks
Ive got mine going great on 4s, 60amp esc and wemo copy with 3200kv turnigy, 700watts and it flies great. My only concern is the elevator, im not sure if I sould disconnect the linkage on the wing flaps to the servos which are connected the the tail flaps too. I want more elevator, thinking maybe the wing flaps moving the same time maybe cancelling it out? Please help
Do add another 2 servos for ailerons. Just take the linkage and install the servo forward of the ailerons, near the wing base. Should take you 10 minutes and makes yhe plane fly so much nicer with full controls instead of that weird linked setup.
Anyone actually flown this aircraft? What is the speed? Will the fan unit work on a 4s pack, or is it not balanced and strong enough to stand the extra RPM? Anyone known the fan RPM at the 3s pack level?
I have that fan with a 4600kv on 3 cell first rotor chucked a blade at 1 1/2hrs but pulled good. Second was real good til it tried to eat my pinky finger. 3rd rotor has and inbalance and a real harmonic at 1/2 trottle. If balanced it should take it but the included esc probly will not.
Andre, I fly with the CG exactly at the spot where the wing undersides show a circular "rough spot". It's pretty far forward, but you have to keep in mind that the F16 fuselage acts like a wing too, hence the position.
I would not run the stock motor with 4S. Upgrade to a better impeller and motor. Mine works fine with 3S but I'm sure it would fly apart with 4S. It is, after all, a very cheap jet *)
So.. I just got mine and must say the kit was really well packed! The plane is really nice, good quality and easy to build. But the EDF isn't balanced and it's impossible to fly the plane right out of the box. I could bring it only to 20pcnt throttle because the fan vibrated too much! The bottom of the plane is already glued to the body so access to the EDF, motor and ESC isn't possible without cutting the plane...

9 thumbs up!
This is a 70mm EDF not 64mm. Fan was poorly balanced and was scraping the outercasing of the EDF, unflyable really. ESC is probably Towerpro allthough it is unmarked. Servo's are Towerpro labelled. So I Gutted the plane and replaced EDF, motor and ESC, this wasn't easy since it was glued shut, but the foam is cuttable and glueable. Landinggearwheel was stuck on axl. Foamqualty is nice and real thick up to 15mm. Get your hands dirty or walk away.

Okay, here are some picture from the EDF and ESC swap. Check out the nice thick foam!
I changed the motor and ESC because the stock units where not balanced correctly and scraping. Could not ge t power up to www.link ****** with: img145

IMPORTANT: The CG is... At the wings are drawing a littles scuares, the CG is juste here. Also under fuselage are a vertical lines reference for the CG.
Good flyes

This is follow up - got plane chopped & swapped in 64mm Red Velocity EDF 3900kv (stock IS 70mm but modded 64 to fit) 60A Turnigy esc upped to 12gauge wire for long travel. 600watts on 1600mah 4s 30C lipo, 904g AUW also 650watts on 3000mah 4s 25C lipo, 1004g AUW, 43-46amps, 3mins fly, 50pcnt batt. FLEW GREAT, tad bit nose light on 1600mah. Climb out not unlimited, but still VERY robust. Hand launch EASY w/good throw. Can get by way lighter 40A esc
