HobbyKing HK-933MG Digital MG Servo 2.0kg/ 12g/ 0.10sec
Specially designed for helicopter and fast response applications. It's high quality motor allows longer run time on high speed. Compatible with many gyros such as Futaba 401,601.
gaspin6 you are graspin at straws. You just told me the centre point for the servo only the unit is usec. Thanks for trying. At this stage I can assume that it is 250Hz, but I was hoping that someone might know if it can work better at a higher refresh rate,
Nothing like a pendant to keep things warm, the actual unit is micro.sec. I don't have a MU symbol easily available, perhaps more helpfully to all I run the servos at 330Hz without problems.
I have not got the servos installed yet, but when I do, I was intending to give it a go at both speeds to see if I detect any difference. Thanks very much for doing that trial, I appreciate your advice. Sorry about my comment earlier. I thought you might have been one of the people who make up the answers and have no real experience about what they talking about, I was wrong.
I'm using them on the cyclic for a HK 450 Pro FBL, with IKON flybarless system. I set the refresh rate to 330Hz. There are no issues on the standard settings. I have not done any tuning yet. The bailout system on the IKON tips the heli on it's side. I don't know why yet. There is a bit of porpoise like trajectory at full forward flight, I don't know what that is either. Appart from that it is very solid heli and I'm looking forward to many hours of fun.
I use these servos on my 450pro and 450sport (both robirdG31).There is no difference with align DS415M.So, I recommend these servos because they are much cheaper than DS415M.
I've bought this servo at december last and still waiting by stock. I'm waiting for almost two months. I've Just tried to speak with customer central service twice, no sucess. Now, I'll contact the PayPal customer service.
the frequency on the hk922mg is 1520 - 250 so id assume its the same with this considering these two servos are just geared differently for torque or speed.
just to confirm , these definitely are rebranded henge servo's , packaging , horns etc.. all the same as henge, just got hk-933 on them now. centering is great , not that noisy for digital servo's , also speed is good, but I think their torque is lower as as listed , but otherwise great servo.
WTF is that?!
The similar product but a bigger price?!?
HK is going to be out of the mind?
Que merd essa?!
O mesmo produto por preo maior?!
HK ta ficando louca?!
why buying this and not the henge one?!
According to Henge rep, this is the one with nylon gear on center. If you're looking for full metal gear set, 922 is the right one for you. Manufacturer vaguely claims 933 has high MTBF, seem little odd, but slower speed of this one yields probable higher useful life (50 hour continuous operation with no failure).
Great servo for the price. Definitely they are rebranded henge servo's. packaging , horns , everything the same just got hk on them now. Speed is great. Centering is always spot on. Not noisy for digital servo's. Torque may be a bit lower than its spec. Otherwise great bang for the buck.

I got 4 together with 3 HK-922MG servos. At first they seem to work fine although a little noisy. But after close examination one of the 933's had a bad centering problem. It jitters badly up to the point where I feel it can not be used on the elevator of the EDF jet I intended it for. Luckily I had ordered a spare 933 (maybe anticipating this) but I am still somewhat disappointed by this. The cost of claiming warranty is such that I will not even attempt it. The 922's seem fine but are also noisy and don't seem to like 14 millisecond pulse rate. I had to switch to 20ms pulse rate to get them running smooth. All in all a mixed experience.
