Motor, servo's and ESC are all pre-installed, the wing is a bolt on item for easy transport and this quality micro model even features full 4 channel control with a steerable nosewheel as well as a novel, lockable side hatch for quick and simple battery replacement.
This little parkfly model is a joy to look at, build and great fun to fly!
Hi!
I just received my plane and I have a problem with the elevator servo: it is "shaking / vibrating" a lot.
The other ones are working fine.
I have uloaded a video of it: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/HK_movies2. asp?idmovie=f9fce45d2e4746dc8448c2c80944605d
Did I do something wrong, or is it a bad servo?
Thanks for your help.
Greg.
gregoire...try to insert a different servo if it acts the same...i read some in discussion about "glitching".but i am not so familiar with it..its a kind of signal lose when your tx/rx have defect.and or if it reaches the distance limit..but in your case its so near...im convince with the defective servo...
The elevator servo of my micro 182 stopped working one day after the airplane arrived. I changed it and know its working very nice. Sometimes the rudder servo stop working when i turn the rudder to the left. I will change it. Summarizing, i sugest you too change all the servos for good quality servos.
There are better trainers but this is not too bad. It is a little small. Most of the guys recommend the Bixler. Hobbyking Bixler EPO 1400mm - (ARF) (PRODUCT ID: HK-SS-ARF) or the KIT version or the RTF version. They are also available in some local warehouses to save on shipping.
Ha best answer??? No answer in a month. That is so bad. The swift motor is ok if you have it already. If not just go to the motor section. You will find one in the hundreds there that will suit. There are about 15 motors that will suit, have a look.
Too bad that HK doesn't carry parts for this plane. It could be a top seller. And well worth it, though I preferred to buy the combo package (search cyclone), for only $8 more than this one (Cessna alone=$48, Cessna Cyclone body=$56), and save on shipping (both come in box) alone=925g combo=1182g. Try ControlFreaksRC. They have parts, but not advertized. Credit appreciated.
Has anyone tried a 2s battery smaller than 500mah? Most comments indicate that making this plane lighter also makes it floatier and more forgiving. How about the Nano-Tech 2s N370.2S.25 or the new 300mah 35-70c Nano-Tech Product ID: 9210000020? It's only 17g!
I know that it would work as long as they are 7.4 volt and 2s. The batteries you thought of can work but be careful that the connectors are the same or you'll have to do a little soldering. Also u should get more after you've tested it or else you can lose flight time.
Hi All. Great plane, easy to fly but make sure to get cg right and all will be good,,,but what kind of motor do i replace it with as there are none showing?,,any help would be great..Thkx
Hello friend, I recommend the motors section Outrunners by size / micro & profile search for engines with thrust of 400 grams or more, has several models, but try to make the adjustment that has this model airplane, which makes the perfect flight, I hope to have helped.
No it doesnt! its 4 channel, (Steerable nose wheel, Rudder, elevators and throttle! but i guess if u wanted to u can make it a 6 channel with ailerons!! :D
3D your 100% wrong it does has ailrons. it's a full 4 ch throttle, elevator, aileron and rudder. the rudder works together with the nose wheels. I've got 2 off these little cutie it's from easysky.
This stock motor is 2600 kv you can search in the motor section for something similar kv. Or you can try the c10 or the 18-11 2000kv micro brushless outrunner that what had change when broke my motor shaft in a crash. But this is a good little plane it's One off my favorite.
yes sir certainly, but my advice is : you have to remove the plastic casing cause it add up the over all weight. i prefer using the orange 4ch super lightweight rx if you have a $pektrum tx, but a HK6 will do all right. ang try to remove those ez links , these are kinda heavy too. thanks www.link
Hi guys is this plane good for beginners? As I have not flown a rc plane yet ever but I really like to get in to this hobby so some advise be welcome. Thanks in advance.
not recommended for those who are starting to fly. these planes are heavier and needs a lot of thrust to propel due to its weight. better have an axn floater instead.
Well you could listen to those 2^ or take my advice, this is a great plane to start off with, my mate wanted to get into rc planes and he got this! he flew it great for a first timer!!! it make be fast but it flies great at abit over half throttle!
To make changes to the mount for the motor is a little difficult I have found, however if you go to Easysky r/c you will find the correct replacement motor in the spare parts section, maybe HK will stock some for it's customers. Hope this helps. Thanx, Chris
Which one is better between this item and another micro cessna whose product number is "12669" from nine eagle?
Because I have nine eagle radio, cessna from nine eagle is cheaper than this item.
But, this one has a brushless system.
So I'm wondering which one is better.
¿In the interior it is possible to place Corona Synthesized Dual Conversion Receiver 6Ch 35Mhz?
Producto ID: RP6D1-35
¿The size of the cabin for the battery and the battery?
Gracias
You could but you would have to be VERY neat with your wiring. There isn't much room after you add the 500mah battery, and the linkage for the servo connecting the rudder and the steerable nose wheel run right through the center. It's a great flying little plane though.
It is almost too fast for indoor flying. You would be turning the whole time and most likely would hit a wall. On the bright side, the motor is spring loaded so if you do hit a wall the motor will survive :-).
This not a good choice for a trainer. It flies fast and it's so small it's hard to keep your eye on. A beginner would have a hard time tracking it and might lose orientation easily. Go with something a little bigger and easier to see, something that's a little floatier too.
try the cessna '747' found on ebay and on bannana hobby it is the best trainer. i learnt to fly souly on this and it has had to withstand many crashes.
I agree with Shane. This is more of a scale looking plane that is not made for speed. The wing area will keep it up the air. Not an oversized motor! *)
Likely, Most scale - including the mini warbirds featured here are only for the most skilled pilots indoors. Only a few years ago the only Indoor were film and carbon fibler or balsa "kite" style planes.
Comes with all electronics. I just added a 4 channel OrangeRX and I was in the air. Plane is not for beginners. Climbs fast and flies fast, you'll lost sight and orientation quick if you don't stay on it. For the intermediate or advanced flier this plane is an absolute blast. Flies like a big plane but you can fly it in a small area. It's very aerobatic. Does nice big loops and snaps off smooth rolls. The small gear will only land on pavement, I cartwheeled it in grass but it didn't leave a scratch. Very tough little EPO plane. I'm hooked on that spring loaded motor too, I hope other companies copy that design.
Check out my video in 'videos above' great plane, it is very fast and can do vertical. you would need a large indoor area to fly. can defs fly in wind very good small park/ large garden flyer
After 3 flights:
This plane surprised me alot. it is fast for its size. i was expecting a slow flying light plane. this thing can do vertical! it was a really good maiden with no crashes. landing this plane is great fun. the only negatives to this plane are: The esc Gets hot form normal flight, and it has a tendency to tip stall. i tip stalled on landing but it just bounced of the tarmac with no damage.
i flew the plane with a 460MAH nanotech 2 cell. u can get well over 6mins of flight time and not even close to running out of juice
Great plane hobbyking (but please put up spares)
P.s not a great plane for beginners

WOW!
I received this plane from the China warehouse in 5 DAYS to Florida, USA! I don't get shipments from the US warehouse that fast. I put the plane together in about 30 minutes and flew 4 800mAh batteries today (same day I got the plane). It is a fun little plane to fly. I wouldn't call it a beginner as it is quite speedy. With 4 channels I could do loops, rolls and even flew briefly inverted. The little Cessna survived numerous rough landings with no damage. It's a tough bird and a GREAT value.
Great service and a great product!
