Hi, this servo is excelent but have just one problem: the screw used to fix the servo arm in the servo is building used a soft metal. So, after insert and remove the screw, I damaged the screw head (I used appropriate tool). I'm not finding in any place one substitute screw (the size is specific to this use). If somebody have some advice, I will Appreciate.
Is there any hint of gear play in the servos? I need them for 3d plane, where I currently use HK 929MG, which are bad because of significant gear play...
Hi Rob, did you find out, where to get spare servo arms. I have the same Problem now, after my helicopter crashed today. Thanks for your help in advance.
Roland
This shows two torque ratings unrelated to voltage: 3.1 and 2.2...which is it
How do you know what voltage your servos are running or are going to run at?
hey, i bought 3 of these for my 450 swash to replace my 939dmg coronas, the turnigy servos jitter like crazy but the coronas were smooth as,how to fix this?setup is turnigy 9x tx n rx helidrive 45a esc,
What dos this servo come in a lead box? 79g shipping weight for a 16g servo. even with the weight of the servo horns that's almost 5 times the weight of the servo its self.
The servo comes in a very haevy plastic-bag with a little cardboardlabel, that's it. I think they calculated the wrong way. On Produkt ID: OR006-00805 they did it the other way round. A pack with 5 weels, each 4g ist just 4g shipping weight. That's HK no QC anywhere.
Anyone know the puls wide ****-uS of this servo. (TGY-2216MG) need it for flybarless heli multi gyro. If not on right puls wide everything can brake.(Baught a servo tester but it dont work )
I use this servo with HobbyKing GA-250 MINI-MEMS Gyro
asks what the gyro in the setting of these values ( 1520us / 333Hz...760us /560Hz??...1520us /250Hz or 960us / 333Hz
for the servo TGY-2216MG What is one to use ??
this is a 1520µs servo. Don't use any other mode, otherwise it might be destroyed. As a tail servo, it will be far too slow, but for the swash, they are perfect. Use a HG-D261 for the tail... You will be impressed.
strange on servodatabase**** it says it can only be used at 4.8 V... no mention of bandwith pulse either??? I need to know this for setting up my beastx.
It's been said in the Review section that this is the Power HD 2216MG (links to PDF datafile). The servo looks identical to the Savox micro servos. Does anyone know if they are the same as any of the Savox range, possibly the SH-0255?

Mine burned out after about 30/40 flights on the tail of a HK450 with a GY401 running 28% gain in HH mode. I started getting bad glitches on the heli and narrowed it down to the servo. It then failed in my hands while bench testing it.
A servo like this will last a bit as a tail servo, but it is not surprising to see it go out after that many flights as a tail servo. I highly recommend this as a cheap fast accurate tail www.link
I have tried it and found that the servo would jump about every three seconds in digital mode. So i tried analog mode and it worked very well on the HK450 with telebee. I think it may have something to do with the servo's frame rate.
All i can say: surprising servo !Perfect upgrade for the HX900. The gears are very smooth,so,it moves in almost total silence with great precision and speed...and there is no detectable dead-band. The yellow part is aluminium to remove any heat build-up.
Merci !

26 thumbs up!
This servo has the best performance of any micro servo at Hobby City. The centering is perfect, the speed is very fast. It does not hunt or jitter. Mine weighed 16.2g with the wire/connector. The only minus is they do not come with mounting hardware.
sehr genaues und kraftvolles digitalservo, in dieser Preisleistung nicht zu uebertreffen, sehr empfehlenswert

Very nice, precises Servo, the only culprit is the horns are very small. But there should be many compatible horns on the market, just have to find them :)
