That should fit by dimentions, but I've read that your car uses 6mm connectors, and the battery is HXT 4mm. You will need an adapter wire for it. Hope that helps.
thanks anikeev, it should be fit in savage flux if dimention is correct that informed by hobbyking. however can't believe all of hobbykings review. also thanks connector info. that used hxt 4mm.
You need charger for it. If you're not so good with electronic, I suggest you to buy product: TGY-3. You can connect it into the wall and to battery without any adaptors and no setup is needed. But charge process will take much time. If you want to charge it faster I suggest Accucel-6. But you will need power supply for it, adaptor wire (XT60 to HXT) and setup proper mode. Hope that helps.
You will need a lipo capable charger that will do a 6s pack, when you order your charger get some battery leads to make your charging leads you can change the connector type if you need to match your RC in doing this also get some wire as well 14g min for this battery. ( small the g number the thicker the wire is 14g is bigger than 32g( servo wire size) )
If you asking about charging current, then 5A is good charging rate. I'm not recommend to charge at higher current because it can shorten the battery life. If you asked about max load then 100A is normal load and 150A is maximum peak load. So you can use this battery with 4 ESC 25A each. Hope that helps.
You can check "Hardware & accessories. > Wires & Plugs > Battery/ESC/Motor Connectors" section for it. You can also try to find it here: "Batteries & Accessories > Battery Adapters". Hope that helps.
True about the not so smart charger, but LiPo`s are stated to be checked before delivery. It`s not up to the customer to retrieve gear that can fix such a problem, even if it`s a good idea.. As everyone understand, the shipping for such a battery is higher than the actual cost, so who would go the miles to follow the guidelines for a new battery? Not me. But I have another 450 usd order processing, would be a good chance to send me a new one. Yes deeply discharged of course..
Received this battery today, among with the 40C similar.
Using a Hyperion EOS 0610i Duo charger, but got no contact with the battery upon attempt to charge it. Message says "no contact with battery", switching back to the 40C battery, everything ok. back anf forth, several times, same message.. So bucks out of the window or flushing bathromway, make a pick.. Also tried to "fool it" on PB program, and NiCd program, but still no contact.. Tip, to do so can wake a old battery back to life if it refuses to emit charge.
My guess I got a battery stored way to long. I`m not the one to return the thing to get my money back or get a new at this prize tag, the dimes here are simply not worth the efforth. My question is, since we all buy the higher Amp batterys, how old are those on the 20C we receive..? No, this is not the first, and no, it`s not my charger, and no, it`s not my skills. I have some Zippy`s now, the batch of mine for the season is 24 batterys, all of those is
by Zippo & Tyrnigy.
Check battery voltage with multimeter - it can be deeply discharged. If so - ask somebody to share or buy this charger ID: Turnigy-3S or this ID: TGY-3. It's good idea to have one not so smart charger. I am using it to charge deep discharged batteries (Li-po 3S discharged to 0.7V and one more 3S discharged to 7V) when my smart Accucell 6 can't detect that batteries. Hope that helps.
Take the 12V lamp (1-10Watt would work) and connect the low-voltage battery to a fully charged one of the same or higher capacity through it. The current would flow into the bad battery so it would charge untill it'll be able to be charged normally.
Once I forgot to disconnect the turnigy 2200 20C battery from a plane and it was held fully discharged for a week! I precharged it with the lamp, then inserted into a charger. After 2 cycles I got 2100 mah - only 5% of capacity was lost because of my failure. Others would just throw it away. Also, it survived for about 20 cycles after a restoration so far, no problems.
Basically I was wanting to know as far as discharge rates etc. the problem I'm having is on speed runs on 2x 3s my car is usually faster on the fourth run than the first. I thought maybe I have my settings wrong in my venom charger
You shouldn't charge it with current higher than 5A. Store your battery in warm place not in cold. When you use it at winter outside, your battery need to warm-up before it will give the best shot. Maybe that's your problem?
I would like to make sure I'm charging my zippy flight max 3s 20c-30c 5000 mah batteries correct. Can anyone help me with set up on my venom lipo charger?
Well most of the charger has similar setup/selection mode.
For Lipo, it's advisable that you balance them while charging therefore choose the "Lipo Balance Charge".
Plug both the main battery plug(red and black), and the balancer plug(4 colorful wires) to the charger.
Charge setup would be 3S, 5A(=5000mah).
Hope that helps.
You can connect HXT4mm to the battery, but you will need 2 male bullet 4mm to connect it to the charger (i mean accucell6 - it has 2 female 4mm output). Maybe 4mm banana plug will work fine too.
I bought accucell6, made power supply from 12v laptop charger and charging wire (you'll need 4mm bullet connectors: one female and 3 male). I didn't found an out-of-the-box sulution, but I didn't search for it actually :)
*peterfarley29 5amp is max charging current. the low current charging will increase ur battery life like 2-3Amps and obviously it takes more time to get full charge.
Has anyone used one of these 5000mah lipos to power an EPP FPV with a NTM Series 35-30A 1400kv motor and a 60amp Plush Speed Controller? This is the power set up I will be using for my FPV project.
I haven't used it in the setup you have but I can tell you they excellent lipos. Consistent, powerful and have not lost any capacity in over 50 cycles.
Exelente bateria, uso no meu traxxas E-Revo e roda 100pcnt

Two of these Zippy 5000's in series are EXCELLENT for an E-Flite Power 60 BL - 400KV!I Use these in my 8.5 lb 82" wingspan Modeltech Super Cub. Takes of in 10 feet climbs vertical to about 400' before stall, then flies the plane for 25 minutes with mulitple landings and full throttle operation.

I'm new to electric and was going to use two of these in series for my E-Flite Power 60. Modeltech Super Cub 82" 8.5 pound total weight with batteries. Sound about right? Any suggestions?
Luckily you can get deans style plugs here. (when in stock) Pay $3 for 10 pairs. I bought 40 pairs last time they had em in and it only takes about 3 mins to solder up a battery. Well worth it in my opinion.
deans are having a go about copies of their plugs, i think they are fed up seeing their product sell at a fair price and want to get back to the good old days of ripping off the hobby that feeds them
thye dont because these batteries are really made for airplanes and these are the kind of connecters they use on thier airplanes but it is very easy to soder on deans or go to your local hobby shop and they will hope this helped

I bought 4 of these batteries to use in Rustler vxl's and the power was superb. They actually held more mah than they are rated at. They are a bit larger than listed, but I made them work. They are an amazing battery for the price. I would recommend to anyone.

I bought 2 of these. They fit nicely in the Traxxas E-revo. Power wise, they provide the same punch as my more expensive Polyquests. They do not fit on the 16.8v Traxxas E-Maxx though. Given the width at 50mm, they would probably fit in the tray of the HPI E-Firestorm as well, though I don't have one to confirm. All in all, good performing batteries at great prices.

I run 2 of these in my savage flux. Kind of a tight fit in the battery box with the stock foam. but they do fit perfect if you remove the foam from the bottom of the flux battery box. They work as good as any other lipo I ever used. Mine took 5300mah on second charge. 300mah more then rated.
