Hi all, recently bought a 2200lipo from another site, doesn't have XT connector only jst and several others. Is it possible to solder new plug to match ESC?
Ciao sono nuovo di questo sito web dove posso contattarli telfonicamete visto che ho odinato una rcevete che ancora non mi e arivata e sono passate 3 settimane
Agree, it is taking way too long. New to the hobby and building a quad. for a first order it is giving a bad impression. Cheap and good quality though. Guess this is just a tradeoff.
Yes you can Use this Packs on the 450. I have the 450X and i bought 4 of this and some other of higher rating too, they work great. all you have to do is Change the Power connectors if yours are different and you can buy them here.
this new charger came out it is touch screen and charges from 1s to 6s so great charger but keep in mind you need a power supply. here is the charger
Hobbyking X200 Touch Screen Smart Battery Charger 10a 6S
It means that cells on battery are connected like 3 cells S-> Serial and 1 P -> Parallel.
Because one bigger battery like this is made from 3 smaller cells.
If you had 1S battery it would be 1S1P. If you had a 6S 2200 battery it would be 6S1p.
Hope I've helped you !
Hi, been running on a few of battery packs with deans, i notice most of battery sold here are with XT60s. I am looking forward to change my ESCs and previous batteries to XT60 as well. Can someone link me on how to do it?
The fastest easy way to do it, is make a short patch cord that uses the right deans connector to the XT60 connector. This way in the future you can use a battery with either connection on your model Simply be careful to make sure you maintain proper polarity when you solder the connections.
I found 2.2 Amp packs to be too small to handle peak demands on the Tunigy 1/10 SCT, it has caused a couple of my packs to puff.
Give this one a go www.link powers the stock 1/10 SCT without drooping as much as the 2.2 amp pack under load.

Hi
New to this hobby and a plane i was looking at requires a1800mAh-2200mAh battery.Stupid question i think this means a battery anywhere from to 1800 to 2200 am i correct? also what is a good battery brand/
Than you
That's correct. Your best bet is to with the largest you can fit, it will give you longer flights and is less work for the battery. Also pick one with a high "C" rating. 30-40 should do for all but the highest demanding jets.
Imagine assim... C é* o quanto a bateria pode fornecer de corrente em um determinado tempo se ele diz que é* 30 C multiplique isso pelo valor de corrente nominal e vai saber quanto é* o maximo de corrente que a bateria vai conseguir entregar.
looking for a upgrade for my hobbyzone t-28 comes with a 11.1v 1800 local hobby shop want 50 bucks for a extra battery
any suggestions new to the electric planes been flying nitro for years but realy seem to love the electrics
Yes 2200 mah batteries are fine a they are optimal balance in weight and power also in my opinion of all the 2200 mah batteries I have used so far , turnigy ones last longer and does not bloat as easily as other batteries

110mm. Actually it is 107 mm (without wires) but there is soft plastic at the ends, so when I pushed the calipers is squeezed to 104 mm without much pressure.

i recieved 3 batteries last week on 25/8/2009, one is very good and balances well, the other two batteries had one cell each that read below 2.5 v. these cells don't charge over 3.9 v causing the overall voltage to drop very fast, the readings of one battery when i recieved is:
Cell 1 had a voltage of 3.85v charged up to 4.20 v Cell 2 had a voltage of 3.86v charged up to 4.18 v Cell 3 had a voltage of 1.9 v charged up to 3.9 v

25 thumbs up!
Good value for the price but only 3 stars because I suspect performance is a little overrated. Great when fresh but noticeable loss of punch midway thru flight. Now beginning to swell (just a little) after about 15 cycles. Also heavy and bulky for the capacity.
Used on Precision Aerobatics Katana MD and Addiction with appropriate IPAs and props. Never been discharged under 11.5v. Max draw on either plane 40A, well within spec for the battery.
Ordered 2 packs.. One had a bad cell on arrival.. The 2nd fly well in yhe Easy Star but requires balance charging after each flight as one cell drains a bit faster then the rest. .1v lower when discharged.

I checked the capacity with a constant load of 20A and the result was exciting: 2220 mA and the drift of the cells was quite low. Also lipomon from rctool.de fits well to the balancer connector.
