I bought 3 batteries from HK. Somehow this one can't charge using the Turnigy Accucel-6 charger with 'THE CONNECTION BROKEN' error message.. Any idea?
Alessandro  1 points - 3/26/2013

You can use this battery on a CopterX 250?
Nriquitor  8 points - 3/23/2013

Will this work with a The Hobbyking SS series ESC and a D2830-11 1000kv Brushless Motor
 RVaitor 115 points
Yes. It will work great with those components.
Ayberk  20 points - 12/24/2012

I just bought this pack, and hooked it up to a 24gram motor and 20A ESC I had laying around. When I ran up the motor though the ESC started smoking! It's a cheap ESC, but can someone explain where I messed up?
 luca 7 points
I'm not an expert, but from what i know not only the weight of the motor, also the K/V and prop matter on how many amps it draws.

1200 KV motor with a 8 X 4 Propeller mounted on it, powered by a 20A chines ESC this is the the same motor, mine is just from www.link Is this because the ESC was cheap, or the battery has too much discharge, or the engine was pulling too many amps? Help please!
 Ayberk 20 points
Sorry, didn't let me post link. This is the motor: Turnigy DST-1200 Brushless Bell Motor 1200kv
 john 1 points
You need to find out the max amps the motor draws and if this is close to 20 amps or above it sounds like your ESC over heated. Like Luca said your motor and prop combination will alter your current draw but also remember if it's drawing close to it's maximum to have airflow over the ESC and don't run on the ground flat out for a long period of time.

waht is the maximum flying time if i attached to airelon trainer?
 Mick 1 points
10-15 min
 essadik gx 33 points
i didn't understand what do you mean exactly
 Julian 1 points
it will depend on the motor u use!
Electric Power  465 points - 2/29/2012

should move the Foam F22 around quickly.
 chrisc3998 43 points
This will deff move it pretty fast. The only problem that you may run into is the low mAh. I am currently using the 2200mAh 3 cell in my foam F22, and it gives about 7 min of flite time, but if you are worries about weight or CG then this will give you about 4-6 min run time depending on your throttle usage.

we fly for about 5 minutes most of the time, these are home made foam F22 and Avro Arrow. The F22 is a mid motor the Avro a rear pusher. Fun when we get 6 or 7 in the air at the same time. We have it to a build a flying plane in 2 hours and a cost about 35$ RTF. Also putting EDF 4s on them and speeds into the 200 KM range

What does the white bit at end plug into?
 H-KING_SCOTT 5155 points
It is the balance lead, this plugs into the balance port on your charger.
 Moritz 8 points
It is for balanced charging ...
 Electric Power 465 points
natasha always balance your batteries when charging they will last longer and give a better flight time
 nico1768 3 points

, and I was wondering if I could charge these batteries with it. Can I connect both the balancer and the discharge plug to my charger (this charger support this feature)
 NICOMONI 7 points
The balancer connector is the standard, I used it with two diferent chergers with no problems. The batteries are great, wellworth to buy.

Somebody knows if this battery fits in the Honey Bee FP V2? Or is it too long?
 Fokke 61 points
Too long is not an issue. There's enough space in the canopy for a longer battery. The width is the critical measurement. Sold my FP2, so can't verify for you. :-) Just measure the width between the frame plates and check with the battery width (35mm) that is specified.

I moved on to HK250 GT. MUCH more helicopter and flying joy than the FP2. I found the HK250Gt easier to fly than the FP2, because the HK250Gt actually executes what you put into the controls, without delay or sluggishness.
This battery will work in the HK250 as well, just put the Honey Bee canopy on the HK250 and you have tonnes of space for your battery. :-)

Wow. 30 Amps for 93grams weight is an awesome ratio. This just might be the perfect choice for my light 500g F-35 VTOL project.

Hope the admin removes those silly reviews for this awesome battery.
 dustin_r 12 points
yeah and for the money I love the way the quality of how the pack is assembled.
 sladiki 10 points
Just ordered this lipo, any advice for a good charger for this Pack, reasonable price. Best regards, Sam
 Bigglesfliesund 869 points
why put an XT60 plug on this, it's stupid
 marcos 2 points
30 c mentioned is the peak discharge ... the battery is ideal for your model plus it has 1000 mah, more or less 10 to 15 minutes of flight.

Too big for Trex 250 without a canopy modification. Work well, but I have one cell with a higher internal resistance. On receipt, 2 cells was at 0.010 ohms and the other at 0.016 ohms.
