Dieser Impeller wiegt DOPPELT so viel wie vergleichbare 90mm EDF.
Ansonsten luft er sauber und hat ein angenehmes Rauschen.
In meiner Mirage leider nicht zu gebrauchen.

this fan is great..cool sound but could only get 1700kilogram thrust not the 3kg as stated with a 6s 4000mah..

put the fan in a cmp/hobbyking T-45/hawk without the intake duct on ,flying weight 3300kilograms flies great

yes this is a DR.Mad Thrust EDF as confirmed by mail by HobbyKing.
So HobbyKing you have to change the pictures and the description, because a DPS(Dynamic Power Series ) means it is an RC Lander EDF !!!

I used this EDF setup on a stryker. I had paired it with the Redbrick 100amp esc, and used a 6cell lipo 5000mah. I know over kill. This setup had so much power it split the plane in two

Terribly heavy and only turns low 30k on 6 cell.. Lousy thrust! Buy a good plastic fan instead.. Looks cool setting on the bench though! Best stay away from this..

I received this unit a couple of weeks ago and installed in a 90mm viper. The dynamic balance that is claimed for this fan unit must be true because this fan runs with no vibration at all, extremely smooth. I do have a couple of issues with it though. One of the stator blades was cracked where the bolts go through it. Doesn't appear that it will go anywhere. Also, I was unable to get the 3.1 kg of thrust that is claimed. The max thrust that I got was 2.1 kg, however, it was mounted in the viper when I checked it and the reduction in thrust could be due to the ductwork of the jet. Still, a little disappointing. The ducts are rather large and should not have reduced thrust by 1 kg. I was using a HK 120 amp speed control with a 4500 mah nano tech battery. So, it appears to be a nice unit, fairly well made, but somewhat disappointing in the thrust output and a little heavy as well. I wouldn't have minded the weight penalty if the thrust claimed was there. As it is, I have a heavy fan with little thrust, not the best combination.
