    Product Description

    The Alpha-EV is a 85% ready to fly, High Performance, Ultra Light Weight powered-glider. The wingspan comes in at 1000mm with a flying weight is approx. 325 grams (~11.4 oz.) It features HN1033 airfoil specially modified for this small sailplane, the benefit of that are superb thermal abilities and very low stall speed.

    Composite fuselage
    light fiber glass with glass carbon fiber reinforcements for extra strength
    Removable canopy for convenient access to the radio gear
    V-shaped wing saddle with molded in nuts for the wing mounting srews
    V-shaped saddle for V-tai.
    Wing cores precision cut from high density white polystyrene foam
    Veneer skins bonded to the foam with aircraft industry grade epoxy in high pressure molds
    Perfect warp-free wing.
    Light weight tail made from balsa is finish sanded
    Pre-hinged control surfaces.

    Maybe I didn't build it correctly but but mine isn't flying well.
    The 110° tail is not easy to build and get the right angle.
    A single servo for the tail is also not great and not easy to setup.

    My absolute favorite glider..Run mine with 2207 2700kv motor.30amp esc.6x6 prop.850-1300mah 3s=unlimited vertical.

    Wie alle Baustze von Art-Hobby ist auch der Alpha-EV 1M bestens gelungen.
    Die Anleitung ist einfach und verstndlich in englisch. Gut Bebildert und in sinnvolle Bauabschnitte unterteilt. Entgegen der Anleitung das nur Hhenruder, Querruder und Drossel beschreibt, habe ich den Alpha zustzlich mit einen Seitenruder ber V-Mixer eingebaut. Querruder Servos sind TGY 1440 und fr Ruder und Hhe verwende ich TGY-1600A. Motor ist ein Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 2822-1090kv und ESC TURNIGY Plush 12amp. Sehr gutmtiges Flugverhalten und ein schner Segler zum mitnehmen. Daumen hoch!
