Have been running asp glow engine for over 20 years they have served me well, with regular flights for many years with no problems unless ive burried it which has killed a few.Best to use arfter run,and disconect the fuel line as fuel will draw water through you bearing on its way to your fuel tank.

great engine, pulls my pitts with power to spare, very user friendly, better
than other very expensive big name brands, i have 10 asp engines and
cannot fault any of them, run them all on 5pcnt nitro, 18pcnt oil that includes
20pcnt castor, the trick is to tune them a bit rich on the ground as they will
lean out in the air as the tank empties, have never had a deadstick with
any of them, maybe i am just lucky, but maybe i dont run them to lean/////

I purchased an ASP 120 many months ago, sent it in for warranty three months ago and have not seen the engine since. I will never purchase another glow engine from hobby king again. I would rather pay more money for a better quality engine and get better service.

Have 2 of this and need adjustment on both needles : 1 1/4 from closed on full speed and 3/4 in on slow speed - The engine starts very easy.Had to change from OS8 glow to hotter OS6 (a3) There was trouble with the tank that got full of ear bobbles from the pressure tube. When this get in tube to engine it stops. Test flyed both engine on a 120cm plane 16x8 propeller (pull 6kg) and wery satisfied. They are now going into 2 falcon 120 bobcats

Great motor are testing one and one in the mail.Run fine in test stand - after some adjust on low and high needle. put it in a katana 3d - Problem with stopping after a while on half to full speed.- was to mutch air bobles in the tank and motor stops when bobles come to the carburettor. Put in a Header Tank and the air dont get to the carbu. But still some stopping Used "Os8" glow plug when stopping .Put in "Os6 hot" and all stopping was history. Have flyed it 5 tank and no problem at all.

this engine seizes up without any warning-in cowl,no cowl:requires helicopter cylinder-head,if available.ran 5 tanks of fuel first, before flying model, seized while taxying to runway! as it stands, complete waste of money-plus cylinder and piston un-available only adds insult to injury!!thumbs down big-time!

Inside the carbby you have round pipe with o ring, the main mixture needle screws form the side into this pipe. This is not fitted properly it spins not sealed . So you start motor up then it will stop or quite on take off.. you have to get JB weld (glue) seal this pipe in corrected spot

After many failed start-ups and tuning runs...I couldnt get this motor to stay running. Would run fine at full throttle but would loose prime at an idle and shut off.

Finally figured out that the motor was indeed loosing prime and starving for fuel.

Use gasket sealer on the exhaust, back plate and carburetor.

Runs like a dream. Very nice transition from idle to full throttle. Must better then other ASP motors.
