I've had great luck with these. The 8 or so i've used have been very close to balanced out of the box. They are extremely strong, i've only actually broken one of them in a rough crash, and others have survived quite a few tumbles. Price is very reasonable and i will likely continue to use these in the future. 650kV motors on a 450 frame.Have bought a few of these. Great props, they only need a little balancing, hub is balanced.
But the quality is getting worse with every batch. To bad HK cant keep a stable QC. They are still great but you can tell the overall quality is getting worse.For the price, quite good. All four were fairly unbalanced and needed a 4-5 cm strip of tape to balance, plus a bunch of glue to balance the hubs. On one of them, the hub is so unbalanced that I could not get it balanced fully without risking damage to the hub from sanding too much.
Bottom side is somewhat rough, looks like they may have been pre-sanded or maybe badly made? They do feel solid, though. Vibrations on my APM remain within the -3/ 3 range that is considered safe, will have to test them in a proper flight when the weather gets better.I did not think I could get any better, but these props REALLY DO work well. They were close to balanced, but the root was out. Once balanced my testing showed major improvements to efficiency on my lightweight X660 project.
with other slow fly props 12x5 w 750kv motors, I would average 220mah a minute. With these 12x4.5 w same 750kv motor, its 168mah a minute. Its strange, my throttle is exactly the same position, so its not more lift, but it uses way less power for hover.
With a little balancing, these props are now my favourite! I will stick with this combination for a while because my newest design with these props, 750kv motors, and a multistar 5200 3s gives me 31 minutes flight time. If I shave a little more weight I think it will easily do 35 minutes. Thats very impressive for a X660!Good prop for the price. Lightly unbalance but electric tape or sandpaper will make it very good. In my case low kv 750kv motor trust is normal. Best efficiency with slow fly.
I think this prop is good for motor more than 900kv. Thickness is very good and dont loose rigidity. Overall a good product ! -
